Soap Opera newsHeather Lindell Exits Days of Our Lives Heather Lindell will once again exit Days of Our Lives as Jan Spears. The actress is set to exit the show and wrap her run on November 24, 2020, according to Soap Opera Digest.

I'm actually disappointed. Although I wish they'd done more with the character, I've enjoyed her return.

Well, I'm not happy about this. Jan is one of my favorite characters. While it's nice to have her back for any length of time, it sucks that this time was so short! I know Heather Lindell isn't a full-time actress anymore and has a company to run, it would have been nice for Jan to stick around for a while. Ah, well. I wish her the best in whatever comes next for her. I'll be interested to see how things end for her this time.

Jan if she ends up being killed off I wonder who the suspects in her murder would be: of course Belle, Shawn, Claire, Philip, Charlie, John, Marlena, Brady

I'm not surprised. They might recast her, but I think the actress has a business? At least that's what I read on another board,so I guess this was never supposed to be a long term thing.

I like Jan well enough as a villain but I’m fine with her leaving now. Her story played out and remained fairly interesting. Better to leave people wanting more then stick around and wear out your welcome. So many stories drag on endlessly. Hers didn’t.
She can always come back someday for another round.

I kind of loved/hated Jan. Her story was both ridiculous and interesting at the same time. The actress who plays her obviously enjoys the part and it shows. She is entertaining and I wouldn't mind seeing the character again.

I never liked Jan period. She is too much of a cartoon character. If I had to choose, I prefer Heather Lauren Olsen better in the role. She brought more pathos and dimension. Lindell is one dimensional. To me, her return has been a waste of airtime.
