At least Chloe had the sense to call Laura and talk to her about the problem instead of just brooding. Hopefully when Phillip comes back (maybe that's him at the door and he forgot his key???) he will have an engagement ring and the most heart-felt proposal any girl has ever received.

I can't blame Chloe for feeling a little insecure finding framed photos of Philip and his ex-wives and ex-fiancee. I'm glad she called Dr. Laura and discussed her feelings.

Girl you should never feel insecure about Philip you're his first and last lve. Although I am a little unsure of why he has those pictures in his desk! I love the extra chapter and the detailed love scene can't wait to read MORE!

Am I the only one who's worried that Parker has been unattended all this time? I'm afraid she was worried about the wrong thing and it's going to get her in trouble again, like when she left Parker in the house with the oven on.

THE CONDO, FRONT DOOR
Chloe heard the front door opening.
Chloe: Philip! You’re home!
Philip: Hey baby, did you miss me?
Chloe put her arms around Philip and kissed him passionately, which pretty much answered the question of whether she missed him.
Chloe: I wasn’t expecting you until later tonight.
Philip: I took an earlier flight. I couldn’t wait to get back home to you and ...
Chloe kissed Philip again and pulled him back toward the sofa as she took off his coat. Parker started fussing in the other room, putting his parents’ reunion on hold.
Chloe: I’d better go get Parker. He really missed you.
Philip: Oh hell, I left his present in the car. I’ll be right back.
Philip returned to the apartment with a wrapped gift for Parker who was on the sofa with Chloe. The baby started shaking with delight when he saw Philip.
Philip: Hey big guy!
Philip put the gift on the coffee table and picked Parker up and kissed him.
Parker: I thought you’d never get home! Where were you, young man? Start explaining.
Philip: I missed you, Parker. Both you and your Mom.
Chloe: We missed you too, Philip.
Chloe kept touching Philip’s hair as she sat next to him on the sofa. With Parker on his lap, he handed his son the wrapped gift.
Parker: Hmmm. This is too small to be a Corvette.
Parker started tearing at the paper.
Parker: It’s Thomas the tank engine!
Philip: It’s Thomas the tank engine.
Chloe: Look how excited he is.
Philip: It’s tough to go into F.A.O. Schwartz when you have a kid. I wanted to buy just about everything.
Parker: Then why didn’t you?
Chloe: I love the shops on 5th Avenue.
Philip: Next time I go to New York, we’ll all go together.
Chloe: I’d love that. Did you have a good trip?
Philip: Yeah, everything went great. But I’m glad to be home.
Parker: Nice train, but what else you got? I have a short attention span.
Parker turned around and saw his parents kissing.
Parker: Helloooo. Why aren’t you paying attention to me? What am I? Chopped liver? Speaking of food, I’m hungry. Waaaa.
Chloe: It’s time for Parker’s dinner. You hungry?
Philip: A little. I’ll go unpack and be there in a few minutes.
Philip took his overnight case into the bedroom and he put his briefcase in his study. He saw the old photos lying on his desk. He picked them up and went into Parker’s room.
Philip: Chloe? What were these pictures doing out on my desk?

Oh goodie!! I am the first to post after that wonderful chapter. Can't wait to hear Chloe's explanation and here what Phillip has to say about why he still has them!! Am loving this story and looking forward to a Phloe happy ending!!

At least Chloe has seemed to get over her insecurities regarding the pictures. Maybe Dr Laura suggested she put them out there as to get it open with Philip why he has them.

Yes! So glad Philip is back Chloe definitely missed her man! I can't wait read Philip's explanations for havings those pictures! Can't wait to read MORE!

I suspect she would have put the pictures away if she hadn't been interrupted when she heard the door. I'm looking forward to hearing what Chloe has to say.

I can't wait to hear what they both have to say about this. I don't know why Phillip needs to keep those but I hope Chloe remembers he is with HER NOW. Oh, and JKJpatch, just a reminder that tomorrow is a Friday so feel free to post an extra long chapter to get us through the weekend.  |
