CONDO, THE NEXT DAY
Chloe was on the living room floor playing with Parker.
Parker: Where’s Daddy?
Chloe: Your daddy had to go out of town on a business trip.
Parker’s lower lip started to quiver.
Parker: Waaaa. Why? Whyyyyy?
Chloe: It’s okay, angel, don’t cry. He’ll be back tomorrow. But I know how you feel.
Chloe’s mind wandered to early this morning when she woke up.
***Flashback***
THE BEDROOM
Philip was getting dressed.
Chloe: What time is it?
Philip: Sorry, I was trying not to wake you.
Chloe: You weren’t going to leave without saying goodbye, were you?
Philip climbed onto the bed, took Chloe in his arms and kissed her.
Philip: Of course not.
Chloe: I don’t want you to go.
Chloe fingered Philip’s necktie.
Philip: Okay, I won’t go.
Chloe: You have to.
Philip: You’re right, I do.
Chloe: I’ll miss you. This will be the longest we’ve been apart since we’ve been together. ... That sounded funny. But you know what I mean.
Philip: I do. And I’ll miss you too. Like crazy.
He kissed her again.
Chloe: Do you have time for ...
Philip: For ... what?
Chloe: For ... me?
He smiled.
Philip: Only if I skip breakfast.
Chloe: Oh, I wouldn’t want you to do that. You need to eat. You’re a growing boy.
Philip: Uh ... yes ... I am now.
He rolled on top of her and kissed her between sentences.
Philip: Now let me think. [Kiss] ... Breakfast? [Kiss] ... Or Chloe? [He smiled and kissed her.] No contest.
***End of flashback***
Chloe smiled as she remembered their romantic farewell.
Parker: Whatcha smiling at, Mommy?
Chloe: I miss your daddy too.

I'm glad Chloe woke up for a proper goodbye. Loved the growing boy remark... I wonder how Chloe and Parker will occupy the time until Philip returns.

So sweet! Chloe and Philip are soooooooo in love with each other! And Parker is too cute "I miss my daddy" and Chloe says "I miss your daddy too! Whew keep rocking the house Phloe!!! Cuz I'm lovin it. Can't wait to read MORE!

Chloe smiled, then she sat up on the bed and unbuckled Philip’s belt and slid it out of the pants loops. She unbuttoned and unzipped his trousers.
Chloe: This has to be fast.
Philip: No.
Philip cupped her face and kissed her languidly as he kneeled on the bed and they faced each other.
Philip: This has to be slow. I’ll drive to the airport fast.
Chloe: In the interest of time, I’ll let you keep your shirt on.
Philip: Mmm, an efficiency expert, huh?
Chloe: I’ve got this down to a science, Kiriakis.
Philip: Yeah, and that science is biology.
Chloe: You wanna talk, or you wanna screw?
Philip: Oh man, I love it when you talk dirty.
Philip’s lips covered Chloe’s in a New York minute and he kissed her with urgency. She gently pushed him back just long enough to take her nightgown off. They fell onto the mattress like hungry lions with a plane to catch. Philip crouched above Chloe’s body kissing her lips and fondling her breasts. He worked his way downward to her neck, kissing her collarbone, her cleavage, licking her nipples and her belly button. He opened her up and she moaned as he entered her.
Chloe: Give me the big one, Philip. This needs to last me 48 hours.
Philip gladly obliged.

CONDO, THE NEXT DAY
Parker: Where’s Daddy? He’s been gone like forever. He’s never coming home, is he?
Chloe: Daddy will be home tonight. We talked on the phone for a long time last night after you went to sleep and he wanted me to be sure to tell you how much he loves you and misses you. I think he’s bringing home a present for you.
Parker: Ooh, do you think it’s a Corvette?
Chloe: You’ll have to wait and see. Want to watch your favorite video, my angel? Mommy has some housework to do before Daddy gets home.
Chloe carried Parker into his room and left him watching the video. She went into Philip’s study to straighten up his mess. In the course of cleaning, she opened a drawer to put things away, and she didn’t like what she found. She took out three pictures: A wedding picture of Philip and Belle, a wedding picture of Philip and Melanie, and a picture of Philip and Stephanie. She looked on his desk and saw a framed picture of Parker, but there were no pictures of Philip and Chloe.
Chloe: Lovely. He has pictures of the women he loved so much that he asked them to marry him, but no pictures of me. I guess I know where I stand. ... Oh, who am I kidding? I knew that no man would want to marry a former prostitute. Philip pretends it doesn’t matter, but when it comes right down to it, I’m not good enough for him.
Between Brady questioning her relationship status and finding these pictures, Chloe felt herself going to a dark place, a place she hadn’t been to in months. She picked up the phone in the study and dialed a number.
Chloe: Dr. Laura? Hi, it’s Chloe Lane. Have you got some time for me? I really need to talk.
Over the next hour, Chloe poured her heart out to Dr. Spencer and, as the conversation came to an end, she was feeling much more optimistic about life. She hung up the phone and was about to put the photographs back where she found them when she heard someone at the door.
