It absolutely blows my mind that the people at ABC think that soap viewers want to see promos for the new talk shows that are replacing soaps. I'm watching Days right now on Soapnet and they are advertising for the new show that is going to air in place of One Life To Live. I've never watched One Life and I still found it offensive. Get a clue people. I guess if they had a clue they wouldn't cancel soaps to put on yet more unneccessary talk or food shows.

I watched OLTL for a couple of months in college and kept up with it (a little) thru SOD. I watched the finale today and there was even a commercial for The Revolution DURING THE FINALE!!!!! The execs at ABC have huge brass balls to do that. I'm not a major fan of the show, but I was pissed! I sincerely hope all of those shows they're replacing soaps with FAIL MISERABLY. I refuse to watch them even for a minute.

I agree DD. I hope all of those shows fail. They did the same thing to All My Children as it was ending too.

I feel the same way. I wasn't a big fan of either show but it still irks me on their behalf when I see promos for the "replacements". I wouldn't have been excited about yet another talk/info show anyway but I find the concept for that Revolution one insulting - the very idea of a set of complete strangers thinking they are qualified to completely "revolutionize" someone's entire life - how stupid!

Yes, I wholeheartedly agree...I hope that these new shows tank, and people get back to soaps (reinstate the old ones). Feh!
