I've been so sad about this all weekend. He really was one of the great ones. I loved his duets with Dolly and several of those are in my Christmas playlist. RIP Kenny. You will be missed.

He was a great singer. When I lived in Ga we ate at one of the chicken restaurants he used to own. It was pretty good. RIP.

John Callahan of All My Children died recently as well, he was 66. He died of a stroke I think. Prayers for all the families.

Kenny Rogers died last night. They say it was natural causes and he was with his family. He was 81. André DiMera, I finally was able to listen to your tribute on The Mix. Beautiful! I am amazed you found that song from 1958. He had some really wonderful story-songs, like Lucille and The Gambler. The Gambler was so popular as a song that it was turned into a TV-movie franchise. I think there were three Gambler movies. If anyone wants to listen, it's worth it! Kenny Rogers tribute on The Mix

I think it's interesting that he had a career as a police officer. He was such a mischief-maker as Eddie.
