Is anyone watching this series on the DOOL app? The first episode was good. It was 15 minutes long featuring Chad and Abby talking about his hectic work schedule and the need to spend more time together. Austin Reed makes an appearance. The pace seemed much more relaxed than the regular show. The characters take the time to have full discussions. I am only one episode in but so far I am enjoying it. I hope they do more of these in-depth stories highlighting different characters.
What do you think?

I watched the first two episodes on youtube since someone is posting them there as well. It's nice to be able to see what characters who are not on the regular show are doing right now. Maybe they can also do one for Carrie and Austin since they set up a pretty heavy storyline for them, but Carrie was only on the regular show for a few days to explain it all. One involving Theresa and her days in California with Tate and Kimberly could be interesting too. The one thing that's driving me nuts about this web series though is that Abby looks like such a slob. Her shirt is halfway untucked, and you can see the black bra underneath. She also has it unbuttoned to the point that there were parts in the second episode where it was falling open enough to expose her bra. Why can't they dress her in a neater way the way they did when Marci Miller played the role? With Chad having the job he does, she can certainly afford to look nice!

I guess I have to turn in my girl card. I never notice clothes until someone mentions it here. I have to pay more attention.

Here is a picture that pretty much shows what I mean about Abigail's ensemble in the first episodes of this series. I do think the headband is cute though.

I like it a lot more than the TV version of the show it has an old soapy feel and the exterior shots of Paris are a nice touch. The sets etc don't look as cheap as the TV version either.
The best part of the show is Austin I'm curious if he has an agenda. I already suspect Juliet has one.

No one would watch the app of Chadigail in Paris. Because of the fact that the other characters that they have a history with won't have any scenes with Chadigail & the last person ever to step foot into this app is Austin, reminding Chad that Gabi tried to frame him with rape charges. The other thing is that don't you find it a little bit odd that with how they had gotten rid of AMC & OLTL & there have been many shows on Netflix that have been scrapped & that OLTL was taken off of the O Network that people would want to watch a soap app. Especially when the Daytime Emmys have included Web Soaps when there is an award show for viral soaps which are known as THE WEBBY AWARDS.

booksoapwriter81 - sadly, I that's part of the fashion style now days. I HATE it. The other thing is the front of the shirt tucked in to show a belt buckle but the rest of the shirt untucked. It drives me crazy!

Finished the 4 episodes - really enjoyed them. Austin Peck looks great! He and Juliet are going to give Abby and Chad some soapy problems.

What bothers me about this app, is that all it features is the drama, suspense & intrigue involving two people. then there's this, don't you think that it's highly odd that both actors who were let go from their show, would play those characters yet again for an app if their show can throw them away from the show they used to be on ?

This sounds like a fun miniseries. I need to make time to check it out!

Again, who would watch an app on a phone when the production that cheaply put together would show how cheaply it's made, therefore, rendering it unwatchable ? I get that game shows are extremely cheap to put together, but look at what happened to two of a network's soaps when they try to do that is seen by way of a tv. Those two soaps have been cancelled & that there's this about this app & that's this: Isn't it kind of odd that both Billy Flynn & Kate Mansi would agree to do this app instead of coming back to their former show, given that they have been plugging every chance they get as to who has been visiting who, therefore, putting it out there the possible chance of the characters coming back the network soap that BF's Chad & KM's Abby was once on ?

Billy Flynn was let go Kate didn't want to stay. My guess is that for Kate at least this probably gives her more flexibility to work on other projects the TV version of the show wouldn't allow.

I watched all of them.. easy as they are only 9 minutes long. So far not bad even though I am still not a Billy Flynn by any stretch. It was nice seeing Austin & how that talk about what is happening back home and how it ties in a bit to the show.
