Thanks so much for that chapter. It was perfect. I don't know how you do it. It's funny, I was having such a brutal day at work but I just had to take a break this afternoon so I decided to peak at this board on my iphone. I saw that you had posted another chapter and I was kind of afraid to read it at work b/c it might be a little to steamy but it was so romantic and sweet. It was just what I needed to get the smile back on my face.

BEFORE SUN-UP, PHILIP AND CHLOE’S BEDROOM
Philip whispered in Chloe’s ear.
Philip: My restraint is gone.
Chloe: Mine too.
Philip kissed Chloe. He was completely aroused but didn’t want their lovemaking to be over too soon, so they spent the next half hour or so getting reacquainted with every inch of each other, touching, stroking, kissing, and hugging, but most of all loving each other. Philip slipped his arms under Chloe and rolled her over so she straddled Philip and, for the first time in years, he was able to view her whole body. He felt like he was looking at a Greek goddess. Her hair cascaded over him as she kissed his stomach and his chest, working her way up to his lips.
Chloe: I love you.
Philip: One down, 19 to go.
She smiled at him, knowing that now she had all the time in the world to tell him what she feels, because she wasn’t there just for the moment or just for the day. She was there for good.
Chloe: I’ve missed you, Philip.
Philip: I’ve missed you too.
They kissed again, and as Chloe leaned over him, her breasts brushed his chest, sending shockwaves through his entire body. Philip wrapped his arms around Chloe and rolled her on her back again.
Philip: And after this, you’re never gonna want to leave.
Chloe: You know I’m not just here for the sex, right?
Philip laughed and he kissed her as their bodies mingled. She held him tightly, feeling slightly giddy that she could finally joke about sex after everything she’d been through, because she finally felt safe and loved and happy, and she trusted Philip completely.
After making love, Chloe and Philip fell back to sleep, with her head resting on his chest and their arms around each other. The sound of Parker crying roused them from sleep.
Philip: I’ll get him.
Philip got out of bed. He put on his pants and went to get Parker. Chloe put on one of Philip’s shirts and climbed back into bed. When Philip returned, he placed Parker into his mother’s waiting arms and joined them in bed.
Parker: Mommy!
Chloe kissed her son.
Chloe: Good morning my sweet baby boy.
Parker: Something’s different here. Are you guys having a sleepover and you didn’t invite me?
Philip: So, you never finished telling me what else is on your list.
Chloe: What list?
Philip: The list of things you love about me.
Chloe: Well it’s definitely not your one-track mind.
Philip: Hey, I deserve to know.
Chloe laughed.
Chloe: Okay, okay. Why I love Philip Kiriakis, by Chloe Lane. ... I love your patience. I love your strength. I love your sense of humor, your wisdom, your sensitivity, your tenacity, the way you are with Parker. I love the way you look in a suit, I love your mind, your body, your soul, your scent, your depth, your romantic nature, the way you root for the home team, and the way you pretend not to cry at sad movies. You’re honest to a fault, you’d sacrifice everything for the people you love. I love the tears you get in your eyes when I tell you the reasons I love you. I love that I can sometimes still see the same sweet sensitive boy you were when I first met you. I love the way your arms feel around me, the way you kiss me. And I love the way you love me. How long a list did you want, because I can go on.
Philip was speechless as he gazed at Chloe through tear-filled eyes. She smiled and leaned over and kissed him tenderly.
Chloe: Like I said, you’re an amazing man.
He reached for Chloe and ran his hand over her cheek.
Philip: Do you remember what I said to you the day we graduated from high school?
Parker rolled his eyes.
Parker: Boooring. They’re talking about the olden days again.
Chloe laughed.
Chloe: I think I’m having a deja vu.
Philip laughed too, remembering that it wasn’t too long ago that they had this exact same conversation.
Philip: Well, do you remember what I said?
Chloe: Philip, you probably said a million things to me. You never shut up.
Philip: That’s true. But I was thinking about the time I told you that I believed we had a future together. Remember?
Chloe: Yes.
Philip: And I was right. This ... This is exactly the future I envisioned for us.

Have to agree with DJM...I wasn't much of a Chloe/Philip fan before...but now I want them back onscreen to play out your story! :-)

Perfect ending I love Phloe so much! I love the reminiscing Phloe always had a special connection! This story was so precious it's exactly what how the Phloe show should be written if the writers finally get a clue! Thanks for writing this I can't WAIT to read your next story!

Loved the ending Kpatch... it was perfect!! I loved Philip getting teary eyed as Chloe told him all of the reasons she loves him. Thanks for writing the adult love stories for Phloe that we never got on-screen.
