Taylor and Fay move in to the DiMera mansion this week, which causes awkward moments for Taylor and EJ.
"She's thinking, 'What have I gotten myself into and how can I get myself out of it'", says Natalia Livingston (Taylor).
For EJ, though, having Taylor around isn't too bad even though he is newly married to Nicole. "He wants her to move in because he is in love with her and doesn't really know what to do about it," says his portrayer, James Scott. "But EJ is feeling vulnerable, wondering 'Am I out of my mind with these feelings I'm having.' But you can't feel that way about someone unless they're feeling that way about you, too."
Things come to a head on their first night under the same roof when Taylor can't sleep and heads downstairs where she encounters a shirtless EJ. "I really wasn't in great shape," cracks Scott. "If you put me on screen shirtless regularly I'll step up, but if you put me on screen shirtless for about 3 minutes once in a year I'm not going to start running to the gym three weeks beforehand."
Taylor retreats to her room, but the next day when they are alone in the mansion they try to have an honest conversation about what is going on. During their chat, EJ grabs Taylor and kisses her. "He'd go to the Salem Inn if he could, but I don't know if that set is around anymore," notes Scott. Taylor pulls away from their kiss and slaps him. And then Nicole comes home.
"Taylor comes out to the foyer and is really upset," previews Arianne Zucker (Nicole). "You can clearly tell they were kissing. Her lipstick is off and she's red on her chin and Nicole is like "What's going on?" and EJ says "Nothing". And Taylor explains she was upset about their mom and he was trying to help her. So Nicole takes a long beat like 'What am I going to do?'. So she says, 'Okay, I'm really glad you were here for her.' Nicole is not willing to lose what she has. Her mission now is to not let her family fall apart. She's like a mobster wife. It's like, 'Out of sight, out of mind.' If she's not seeing it, it's not happening. But she's not stupid."

A little predictable, no? I hate that they are sacrificing Nicole for this story. I want Nicole back with Brady. Hopefully that's where she'll end up.

Ugh....this storyline is so forced and just bad, bad, bad. And I totally agree patch, I hate that Nicole is the sacrificial lamb in all this. I see EJ is rubbing off on his portrayor James Scott again with his comment about not going to the gym just to be shirtless 3 min a year.  He seems so full of himself just like EJ. Not looking forward to this kiss at all. Barf to Ejaylor!!!  |

Ok, no here's another one, Taylor, that I already find annoying. Maybe I will change eventually like I did with Mel. I started to like Mel long before most. Anyway, this scene was predictable. Why can't she just stay away and give Nicole a fighting chance with her marriage.

No lie - my eyes went straight to "shirtless EJ" and I clapped and went "Yipee!!" out loud. But even if he hasn't worked out in a while, I know he is still fine as heck!!!  Now to the rest of it. So you can't have feelings for someone without them having feelings for you too?? Seriously, James? By that reasoning, you're madly in love with me too. There seems to be a small flaw in that logic. Too bad too. We could have been good together. Now you'll never know, (PS. I really hope my husband NEVER sees this board  ) This whole Taylor thing is silly. But I do like that Taylor slaps him back. He deserves it!! I think Nicole is turing into the perfect DiMera wife. Ari's right. It IS like the mob. Marry for what you want, not who you love. Now if we can just find a hottie for Nicole...... |

I wonder how the change in casting Taylor will affect all this...Will the new Taylor (Tamara Braun) be all over EJ and not care about Nicole?

Mr. Scott, Mr. Scott, Mr. Scott...... Are you serious....  EJ is out of his mind in love with Taylor... And EJ needs the Salem Inn when he kisses her in his and Nicole's home...?? Whoever did the casting for the role of EJ Wells seems to have hit the old nail straight on the head..... Oh, and no need to apologize for you lack of bulk in your shirtless scenes as EJ....I don't think anyone quite expects a flaming flamingo dancer (EJ) to have too much in the way of iron....and EJ has never been all that masculine anyway....as a matter of fact, Carly has him beat by a mile.....but at least you are getting off that short bus and letting your hair grow out.....and Carly is becoming alot more feminine...good things are happening in Salem.... But regardless of my opinion, I bet there a plenty of viewers who would be willing to "pump you up" and get you ready for summer....!!!!!! And sportsgirl, I would imagine you are correct that Tamara's Taylor will be dragging EJ's soft bod to the Salem Inn as soon as she can......only to help him bulk up, I'm sure......  |

Are you kidding? Nicole is going to let her husband make out with her sister in her house? Oh hell no! Nicole should kick them both out. SHe burned her bridges with Brady and I think she knows it, but there's no way she should put up with Faye and Taylor messing up what little happiness she was going to have.

I am actually not minding this story. Taylor is not my favorite character, but I like her more now that I have seen her with a little backbone. She actually stands up to him and doesn't give a hoot what he has to say.

See now I amjustified saying Matthew McConaughey is my boyfriend, he just doesn't know it. Ok so I could buy this whole Nicole is going to look the other way because she wants them to stay together because of the kids EXCEPT they have her in love with EJ all over again. I could deal if she wasn't emotionally attached to him. So wrong what they are doing to her. Why can't she ever come out on top? I am not buying this forced love between EJ and Taylor. Blech! What's the new catch phrase? Epic Fail! |

^^^  Glad you liked that!  I have a feeling EJ and Taylor are going to get it on while Nicole pines away for Brady. I don't think she's IN LOVE with EJ, I think she's trying to make herself feel something that just isn't there. "EJ has the kids I want. He's offered me the ability to spend time with them. I guess I should love him. And he's hot to boot, so there's that......" But, yes, this EJ/Taylor thing is an EPIC fail!!! Too forced, too soon. |
