Soap DirtDays of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Nadia Bjorlin Fired as Chloe Lane Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Nadia Bjorlin was fired. The Chloe Lane actress was let go from the daytime drama. This may come as a surprise for many longtime viewers, especially as Chloe seems to be getting more storylines in upcoming weeks and months. Is DOOL cutting more cast members aside from Bjorlin? Signs point to a casting cut bloodbath coming soon. Nadia Bjorlin is out at DOOL, according to recent spoilers. While a variety of things could be responsible for this latest news, it sounds like she was cut, rather than decided to leave the show. As Chloe Lane seems to have some new storylines coming up in recent weeks (especially for February sweeps), this definitely comes as a shocker. Bjorlin has been on Days of Our Lives off and on since 1999. She most recently came back to Days of Our Lives in 2015, where she has been on contract ever since. NBC has not made an official announcement. The news broke on social media – and it looks like Bjorlin was let go and did not decide to leave DOOL on her own. She’s done some outside projects in the past, but has none on her IMDB right now. This comes after Chloe Lane and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) finally set aside their differences and settled their custody argument over Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) daughter. Of course, it almost seemed like Days of Our Lives didn’t know what to really do with Chloe after Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) dumped her and left town. DOOL Budget Cuts to Blame? Chloe Lane hasn’t had too many front and center storylines fans could love in the past few weeks and months. It was almost like Days of Our Lives wasn’t quite sure what to do with her. However, it did look like her storyline would involve Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) a bit more. So, why did they decide to end her contract? NBC renews DOOL for season number 55 – which is great news for all fans. However, this renewal could have come along with some brand new budget cuts, which isn’t surprising. Those at Days of Our Lives may have had to cut their budget. One of the easiest ways to do this would be by letting some contract players go. With Nadia Bjorlin fired, will viewers get to see Chloe’s departure? With the six month ahead filming schedule, we might not see the ripple effect until summer 2019. But keep an eye out for Chloe Lane’s exit storyline on DOOL.

If Chloe is leaving they are gonna need someone to fill the void...they are gonna have to bring back someone or bring on someone new like Noelle

With all her connections to characters, it's a head scratcher that they couldn't find more for her to do, especially considering Chloe's not related by blood to anyone, giving the writers way more options. It's too bad, but I get it. Hopefully she'll be back at some point.

I have been waiting so long for my Broe or maybe Kyle reunion and now this. Just when all has been looking so great lately on that front. doolfan4life, at least you may get some reprieve with the new actor playing Stefan shortly. |

I still don’t think I’ll like him tbh I’ll never accept him as a DiMera dna tests don’t count in Salem even when done more than once
That Urks me a lot that Nadia got sacked and he got to stay
When Chloe is written properly she’s a good character and Nadia brings a lot to the show
This wasn’t a smart choice for them

Wow, how disappointing. I actually don't get this decision. There are so many other characters I'd rather see cut - and who I think are useless, boring and unlikeable (I'm talking to you entire teen scene, and you Lani). Chloe was just finally getting back to the old Chloe I loved. I agree with Kpatch that her non-attachment to many of the families left her open for romance with so many characters. I think her acting has really improved the last few years and she's one of the most beautiful women on the show who has chemistry with a lot of actors. If these writers can't figure out how to use her that says more negative things about them than her. |

At least with Chloe gone she can reunite with Lucas off-screen or reunite with Philip or find love again with someone new away from Salem but then that leaves Julie to run Doug's Place all by herself especially if Chloe leaves

I hate this. If it's really true then the second she's gone, I'm out as a regular watcher. I'll be on the board, but I won't be watching the show. The rumor also say's that Bradon Barash has been let go. Which is weird. Are they recasting him? Is the character of Stefan out. Because no Stefan means no more Dimeras.

I mean if Stefan is out then it is no big loss because the character has been a bust. I mean the character had potential until they ruined him and didn't even once try to really redeem the character in any way.

As far as I see it there is no DiMera anyways once chad leaves
It would be nice if Andre returned as he’s stefanos best successor as a villain imo
But with these budget cuts it sounds like meaningless characters like Hayley and Melinda get their contracts and good characters like Chloe and Steve got the shaft
