Though one rumored addition is a character fans already know, there is the possibility that other recasts are planned. DAYS has put out a casting call for Ryan, who is described as a "17 to 18-year-old Caucasian or African-American male. Ryan is the all-American high school idol. Gorgeous, well-built quarterback of the football team. Popular, confident and charismatic ... the world is at his feet for the taking." The role is contract and the character will start airing during May sweeps. Days of our Lives is also looking to cast the role of Fletcher, a good-looking, 30something Caucasian male. According to the casting call, "Fletcher is a charming businessman with an edge. His look couild be clean cut or not. He is sexy, mysterious, and savvy. He has an easy way with the ladies, but can be formidable if crossed." For the contract role of Fletcher, DAYS is seeking an actor with daytime experience. There is also talk that DAYS might be bringing back Nicholas Alamain, Carly and Lawrence's son. Nicholas was last seen in Salem in 2000, when Victor Webster held down the role.

I addition to this, we do now know that the role of Fletcher (character's name will actually be Quinn) has been cast with Bren Foster in the role....

That would be quite the SORAS for JJ, but it's not unheard of. Philip was born in 1994, I think, and by 1999 he pretty much fit the description for Ryan.
I saw a tweet that said Nicholas Alamain is only going to appear for a phonecall and will not be a longer term character. Not sure if that info is verified though.

Yep.Philip was born in Febuary of 1995,and by 1999 we got him in the form of Jay Johnson,lol.Not a bad SORAS at all,lol.

I read on another board that the teen casting call person may turn out to be Maxine's son if they go the african-american route. I think there was another casting call for someone late 30's/early 40's, also black (and also superstar athlete in hs) that could be Maxine's husband (or maybe just a baby daddy). The actress has a lot of experience playing nurses. I'm not sure I've seen her in a different role. I recognize her most from Scrubs. HAS she played anything else?

@ Kpatch. She just seems to be the only one that knows what she is doing in caring for the patients and follows the rules on ethics. She also does not put up with any nonsense. She is a lot like me when I am working

Well, keep in mind that this is speculation only. Plus, sometimes these casting calls do not pan out. The teen could just be another one added to that set for the summer teen scene and the guy could just be another excuse for Lexie to have an affair.  |

Although, at this point, an affair for ABE might be more interesting. I like tortured love stories, except for EJ/Taylor. That's just silly. Any new characters that are part of affairs with old characters should happen VERY slowly. I like the slow burn. |
