I had wondered about the baby switch when I read the story.

Romans and Other Lovers SOUNDTRACK “The Life and Death of Amy Pond” by Murray Gold - “A Melody of River” by Murray Gold - THE STORY ANDRE DIMERA (Writer): After a short hiatus, I returned with a new story. And, in this one, I wanted to focus more on Roman/John and Marlena. At the end of Baby, I announced that John Black was actually Roman Brady. And, I had to think of a way to explain that. RETURNING CHARACTERS ANDRE DIMERA: There was a long list of returning characters. In fact, I think that half of the characters in this story were returning characters. The list includes: Hattie Adams, Alex North, Chris Kositchek, Rex Brady, Frankie Brady, Cassie Brady, Austin Reed (who was not yet onscreen at the time of writing), Max Brady, Greta von Amberg, Eric Brady, Carrie Reed (see parenthetical for Austin), Nicholas Alamain, Kayla Johnson, and Kimberly and Shane Donovan. That's fifteen returning characters! I'm surprised I was able to keep track of them all! PATRICK MULDOON (Austin Reed): I had already been scheduled to tape new episodes of Days, but I got a call saying that the needed me to tape some episodes for a different storyline outside of the normal TV series, so Christie (Clark) and I, as well as a bunch of other people went back to the sets early. JULIANNE MORRIS (Greta von Amberg): I don't even remember the last time I was on Days, but it was great to come back! I did most of my scenes with either almost the entire cast, or just Jensen (Ackles), Allison (Sweeney), and Bryan (Datillo). And it was great! It was really great! I had a lot of fun! I only wish I could have stayed longer. Ah, well. Maybe I can come back in the future, if I'm needed. JOSH TAYLOR (Chris Kositchek): I was already on the show, playing Roman. But, with this new storyline, it came out that I was actually Chris Kositchek, which was the role I had originally been on Days, pretending to be Roman. Which was a very interesting twist. I'm surprised that André (DiMera of MyHourglass) even remembered Chris Kositchek. I didn't think anybody remembered him. STORLYINES ANDRE DIMERA: As we know from the end of the last story, John Black is really Roman Brady. Roman then goes on to explain, in detail, why he pretended to be John Black, and why there were two other people pretending to be him. Finally, there's a big family meeting. Not everyone is so ready to except Roman's explanation, but for the most part, they do, and things move on happily. Brady Black is then renamed John Brady, as he never was a member of the Black family, because John Black is really Roman Brady, and I couldn't justify to myself leaving him named Brady Brady. DRAKE HOGESTYN (Roman Brady): The last time I had been Roman was in the early '80s, but it was a nice change to go back to playing him. ALLISON SWEENEY (Sami Horton): Sami kind of got reverted back to her old self, in that she doesn't believe a word that John, or should I say Roman, says and is angry at him all the time. And, I had gotten so used to playing a nicer Sami that it was different going back to how she used to be. But, at the same time, I think it was actually kind of realistic. I mean, if this had happened in real life, not everybody would have believed the story that Roman told. So, I'm kind of glad that the part got written that way. CLIFFHANGER ANDRE DIMERA: Of course, not everything ends up happily. Jan gets shot and ends up in a white room with one of the two mysterious men (played by Lenoard Nimoy) and is told by said man that she has to make one of the biggest decisions of her life. HEATHER LAUREN OLSEN (Jan Brady): I taped about two scenes. The first one, I was lying in a bed sleeping until I get shot at by Paul Mendez, played by the always great Eddie Velez. The second, I got to work with a man who I consider to be one of the great TV legends: Leonard Nimoy! Seriously, this man is a genius! It was amazing to work with him! ANDRE DIMERA: Now, originally, the final chapter, in which Jan gets shot and wakes up in the white room was not intended to be in this story. It was actually intended to end with no mention of Jan at all. This ending was supposed to be in the next story, which is the only story I have written for MyHourglass that I have never released. You will find out about that story over the next two days.

JOSH TAYLOR (Chris Kositchek): I'm surprised that André (DiMera of MyHourglass) even remembered Chris Kositchek. I didn't think anybody remembered him. This line made me LOL. You did a great job with this story Andre. Very ambitious and creative.

We might have forgotten Chris if Josh hadn't returned as Roman.. ;D This story really had me thinking! And loved the Fringe references!

Summer Nights – The Lost Story SOUNDTRACK “I Am the Sea” by the Who - “The Real Me” by the Who - “Dream Weaver” by Gary Wright - “If Loving You is Wrong (I Don't Wanna Be Right)” by Luther Ingram - “Bell Boy” by the Who - “Ziggy Stardust” by David Bowie - “Underground (Opening to Labyrinth)” by David Bowie - “Magic Dance” by David Bowie - “The Rock” by the Who - “Love, Reign O'er Me” by the Who - THE STORY ANDRE DIMERA (Writer): As I said in the last part of this mockumentary, this is the one story that never made it. It was supposed to be set fourteen years into the future, and feature a new generation of teenagers. STORYLINES ANDRE DIMERA: As I said, this story would be set about thirteen or fourteen years in the future. It would feature teenaged versions of Claire Brady, Ciara Brady, Jack Deveraux Jr., Joe Johnson (Patch & Kayla's son), Johnny Horton (because, in my stories, Johnny is actually Lucas' son), Allie Horton, Sydney DiMera, Parker Jonas (in my stories, Parker is actually Daniel's son), and Shauna Brady (Jan and Shawn-D's daughter, who was born at the end of Baby). It would also feature Philip Kiriakis, Nicholas Alamain, and introduce Nicholas' son Scorpius, and Nicholas' daughter Trix. The story would involve Philip taking all of the kids on a trip to Wales for three weeks. A lot of this story would focus on Claire and Shauna and the sibling rivalry. They both share the same father, Shawn-D. But, Claire doesn't like Shauna because she thinks that she (Shauna) is responsible for her dad leaving her mom. At the end, they would have made up. Another storyline would focus on Sydney and the newly introduced character, Trix, who is the daughter of Nicholas Alamain. There was a romantic element to the story. But, there would also be a lot of hesitation on both sides. Sydney and Trix genuinely cared for each other and wanted to date, but at the same time, they felt that they couldn't out of fear of what Trix's father Nicholas, and Sydney's grandfather, Stefano, would have thought. That, too, would have been sorted out by the end. On a final note, I had David Bowie make a guest appearance at a beach party. A few of the scenes were filmed. I had cast actresses for Claire, Shauna, Sydney, Trix, and Scorpius, as well as getting in touch with David Bowie to see if he would be willing to make an appearance. DAVID BOWIE (Himself): I would have loved to make an appearance. It's just unfortunate that it didn't get as far as taping any of my scenes. I did meet Shailene Woodley, the actress who would have played Claire if things had gotten further. I feel it's a bit of a shame that it didn't get to finishing filming. I told André DiMera (of MyHourglass) as I left that if he ever reconsidered shooting it, I'd be more than willing to appear. ANDRE DIMERA: I did film a small number of scenes before I decided to scrap the project. The only scenes I filmed were shot on location in Wales. And, only about four or five actors were around for these scenes. I'll take a look in the vault and see if I can find some of those scenes. CANCELLATION ANDRE DIMERA: Why was this story canceled? Well, it could be any number of reasons. I suppose the main one was that I didn't really know how to end it. I had gotten a lot of it written, I'd even gotten how Sydney & Trix's storyline was ended, but I could never find an ending I liked for Claire and Shauna. I think that, if I had thought of an ending, it would have been the shooting scene that was used in Romans and Other Lovers. CLIFFHANGER ANDRE DIMERA: Again, this story probably would have had the ending that Romans and Other Lovers ended up with. You know, looking back on all of this, I've got a renewed interest in this story. So, will it ever be released? I don't know. It might. It all depends on what I can think of for an ending and if there's any interest in seeing a story like this. Tune in tomorrow to see some of the very few scenes that DID make it all the way through filming.

Andre, this story sounds amazing. Please finish it. I am very interested in it. I'll bet it's expensive to film in Wales, so maybe you could just get some location shots and film the rest in a studio or locally.
Since it's 14 years into the future, would Philip be played by Jay Johnson or by an older actor?

It would have been Jay, with make-up to make him look 14 years older than he is.

This sounds intriguing... So hard to picture Sydney older without having psychological scars from her youth.

But, she would have psychological scars. Part of the plot between Sydney and Trix was going to be that Sydney is in love, but is afraid to be in love because of what's happened between her parents. She's afraid to be herself out of fear of rejection, too.

Summer Nights - The Lost Story For reference, please look at the pics in these links to see what the teenaged versions of certain characters (and new characters to this story) looked like. Shailene Woodley (Claire Brady) - makeup411.com/411_product_images/2903_Shailene%20Woodley_American%20Teenager_sm.jpgChloe Moretz (Shauna Brady) - upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/46/Moretz092011%28crop%29.jpgLiana Liberato (Sydney DiMera) - media.thestar.topscms.com/images/76/17/646f74904cb5aef14bb92adc5968.jpegKenton Duty (Scorpious Alamain) - img.poptower.com/pic-24991/kenton-duty.jpg?d=600Julitte Goglia (Trix Alamain) - www.topnews.in/files/images/Juliette-Goglia4.jpg SCENE 1 ANDRE DIMERA (Writer): There were a very small selection of scenes that were filmed during the early stages of Summer Nights. I have looked through the vaults and have been able to recover three scenes. What you are about to see has never been shown to anyone else before. The first scene involves Claire and Shauna. It stars Shailene Woodley as Claire, and Chloe Moretz as Shauna. HOTEL ROOM Claire is laying out her clothes on a bed. Shauna walks into the room. Claire looks up. CLAIRE: No. I am not sharing a room with you! SHAUNA: Where else do you want me to go, Claire? Nobody else has any space in their rooms, and I can't have my own room. Besides, Uncle Philip said we have to share a room. CLAIRE: I don't care what Uncle Philip said! We are NOT sharing this room! SHAUNA: Why not? CLAIRE: Because, I'm not sure if you've noticed this or not, but I don't like you, Shauna. SHAUNA: I'm your sister. You kind of have to like me. CLAIRE: No, I don't. SHAUNA: Well, why don't you like me? CLAIRE: Because of your mother. She took daddy away from my mom! And you know why my dad stays with her? It isn't because he loves her. It's because of you. He doesn't want to leave you alone with your mom. Because, here's the truth, Shauna, your mom is a nutjob. And, she should go back to the mental institution where she belongs. Shauna slapped Claire in the face. She then ran out of the room. SCENE 2 ANDRE DIMERA: This clip shows, I think it was the first appearance of Scoprious Alamain, the son of Nicholas Alamain. By this point, Sydney DiMera and Trix Alamain (Nicholas' daughter) have already met, and there is definately something going on between the two of them. This scene features Liana Liberato as Sydney, Juliette Goglia as Trix, and Kenton Duty as Scorpius. POOL Sydney and Trix are swimming in the hotel pool. The two are looking into each others eyes. They hear a loud splash, and turn around to see that Scorpius has entered the pool. SCORPIUS: Hey, sis. TRIX: Scorpius, what are you doing here? SCORPIUS: Well, this is a hotel, it has a pool that is open to all guests, so I'm swimming. Scorpius looks over to Sydney SCORPIUS: Is this her? The one you like? TRIX: Scorpius! Scorpius holds his hand out. Sydney shakes it. SCORPIUS: Scorpius Alamain, I'm Trix's twin brother. SYDNEY: Sydney DiMera. SCORPIUS: Ooh, she's a DiMera? Father will not be pleased when he hears about this... Trix splashed Scorpius TRIX: You can't tell him! You promised! SCORPIUS: Chill, Bella. I was just joking. TRIX: Don't call me, Bella! SCORPIUS: Why not? It's part of your name. SYDNEY: Your name's Bella? TRIX: Actually, it's Bellatrix. My full name is Bellatrix Narcissa Alamain. But I prefer to be called Trix, which my stupid brother knows! Trix splashed Scorpius again. Scorpius put his hands on Trix's shoulders. SCORPIUS: Okay, okay. I won't tell him. TRIX: Promise? SCORPIUS: Promise. Besides, Trix, you know I would never tell him until you're ready for him to know. SCENE 3 ANDRE DIMERA: There were very few scenes that actually got to the filming stage. I had hoped one of the David Bowie scenes had been caught on tape, but, alas, we only got through rehersals for those. I shall leave you with one more clip. This would have been one of the last scenes of the story. Again, it features Trix and Sydney. BEACH Sydney wiped a tear from her eye. SYDNEY: I can't do this. TRIX: Then don't. Trix wiped a tear from Sydney's eye and held her. TRIX: Stay here with me. Or better yet, let me come to Salem with you. Sydney, the last three weeks, I have been happier than I've ever been before. You taught me that I don't need to hide myself. I don't need to be afraid of what other people think. Now, I think it's time for me to return that favor. Let me teach you what you taught me. Let me come to Salem with you. From what you, my dad, and Allie have told me, it sounds amazing! Sydney and Trix stared into each others eyes for a moment. SYDNEY: Okay. Sydney and Trix hugged. SYDNEY: I love you. Trix smiled TRIX: I know. EPILOGUE ANDRE DIMERA: Just to clear things up a bit, the last lines of the last scene I showed you are supposed to be a take-off of the last lines of Princess Leia says to Han Solo in "Star Wars - Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back", just before Han is encased in carbonite. Had the script gotten all the way through filming, there would have been an earlier scene were Trix said to Sydney, "I love you", and Sydney would reply with "I know". I'm not sure why, but that was one of the things I really liked about Han and Leia from Star Wars, and I decided to carry it over into this story. Well, that's it for today, but I beleive we still have one story to get through, and after the last story, we shall look towards the future.

Jan's Choice SOUNDTRACK “Doomsday” by Murray Gold - THE STORY ANDRE DIMERA (Writer): After Summer Nights fell through, I rewrote the ending of Romans and Other Lovers so that it would hook up with this one. There were no true returning characters in this story. All of the characters that featured in this story had featured in some of my previous stories. STORYLINES ANDRE DIMERA: I knew that I would have to find some ending to this storyline eventually. Shawn-D and Belle belong together, and as much as Shawn-D loves Jan in my stories, he loves Belle more. I had originally thought of running a poll to see which choice the audience liked better. But, after reading it all the way through, neither choice would have been pleasant. That's when I came up with a complete rewrite of history in my stories with it all being a dream. HEATHER LAUREN OLSEN (Jan Spears): It was an interesting idea. Basically, nothing from the start of Don't You Want Me had happened at all. Well, some of it had. Samantha Evans was still alive, Lucas and Sami were married, and John Black is really Roman Brady. But, none of the stuff that had happened to Jan had been real. And, I kinda liked the way it ended. LEONARD NIMOY (William Bell): I was, basically, playing a character that I had already played on the FOX television show Fringe. Of course, the Fringe version of William Bell is different than the version seen in this story. But, it was very interesting playing a different version. I jokingly said to Michael Cerevis, who also works on Fringe, that this is how I would imagine the version of William Bell from the alternate universe would have been. JASON COOK (Shawn-Douglas Brady): Most of the scenes I did were with Kirsten (Storms), Jay (Johnson), Molly (Burnett), Kristian (Alfonso), and Peter (Reckell). I do remember that the last few scenes that I taped were with Heather (Olsen), and I think I also had one with Leonard (Nimoy). ANDRE DIMERA: For one of the chapters, I had Heather Lindell come back as the version of Jan in the mental institution. That's why, when Jan was in the mental hospital, she looked different than she had for the rest of the story. HEATHER LINDELL (Jan Spears): I had wanted to come back ever since filming for Don't You Want Me had wrapped up. But, I just couldn't, because I had a few other things on my schedule. Anyway, I am so happy that I got to come back! Even if I did play a version of Jan that was more psycho than she had ever been. That scene in the mental institution was actually a bit scary. It's kind of like seeing a shadow of what Jan would be like if she hadn't gotten better. JASON COOK: in a way, Shawn-D is kind of the villain of this piece. It's a hallucination of him that tries to convince Jan to stay in her coma, to stay in her dream land, to leave reality behind. And, it was really cool playing a villain for once in the show. I enjoyed it. ANDRE DIMERA: Well, those are all of my current stories. Tune in tomorrow for a look at what will be coming in the future.
