Philip I am almost sure is listening to this and I bet Maggie too. This is not going to have the ending that Victor wants. Nope, not even close.

I’m so glad Chloe is defending Philip, especially about Monica!

It's easy for her to stand there and contradict what Victor is saying, but once she's alone and really starts thinking about things again, I can see her doubts returning. I'm ready for Maggie to enter this conversation. She has such a soft spot for Philip that I don't see her letting this one slide.

I'm happy that Chloe is standing up to Victor defending Philip. I hope he hears everything.

Chapter 10d
“You’ve brought nothing but pain and heartache to every male member of our family.” Victor poked his finger into the table top for emphasis. “Philip. Brady. Lucas. Daniel—”
“Oh my god,” she said looking upward. “You don’t get it, do you?” She leveled her gaze at Victor. “Philip and I belong together and we always have. Every time we’ve been apart, it’s been a mistake. I started out with Philip, and I am going to end up with him. We tried it apart and every time, we’d just keep getting drawn back together. We love each other, Victor.” Chloe took a step backward. “Why am I even trying to justify my relationship with Philip to you? It’s useless to try and make you understand anything about human interaction, about caring for people. For someone who’s supposed to be this brilliant businessman, you know nothing about life, nothing about love. And you know nothing about your own son. He’d never give me up, and I will never give him up again.” Choking up, she pressed her hand to her chest. “Philip is my heart. He’s my soul. He’s my soulmate and he’s the essence of every breath I take, every beat of my heart. You can take away my job and my salary and my office and my condo, my shoe collection and my monthly hair coloring appointments. None of that matters. But you cannot take Philip from me. You can try, but you won’t succeed. Not you. Not Kate. Not my mother. We aren’t a business deal. This is not negotiable, Victor.” Chloe leaned her palms on the table. “If that’s what you want, if your goal is to split us up, that’s really sad. You should have better goals than that. You know why? Because you will fail. Expecting Philip to choose between his job and his family is ludicrous. He will always put me and Parker first. Always. When it comes to the way Philip and I feel about each other? You. Are. Powerless.”
Victor leaned forward in his chair and opened his mouth to speak when the sound of slow clapping coming from the direction of doorway diverted Chloe and Victor’s attention.
Philip came the rest of the way into the conference room. He switched off the paging system on the conference table’s phone and looked over at Chloe. “I couldn’t have said it better myself. In fact, that’s almost word-for-word what I did say.” Glaring at Victor, he held out his hand to Chloe. “Chloe, let’s get Parker and go home.”
Chloe breathed through her nose and tried to calm herself down. She pressed her lips together, then she looked at Philip and nodded. She took Philip’s hand for a moment, then she walked past him and out of the conference room. “We’ll start clearing our things out tomorrow,” Philip told Victor. He gave his father one last angry look before following Chloe out.
Under his breath, Victor grumbled, “Fools,” then returned to his paperwork for a moment until Maggie appeared in the doorway.
With her arms folded across her chest, she said, “Victor Kiriakis. We need to talk.”

Thanks for your continued interest everyone! Here's a taste of what's coming up next week.
Previews
Maggie minces no words in telling Victor what she thinks.
They have an emotional and difficult discussion during which Maggie admits she wishes Philip would have stayed with her granddaughter, and Chloe would have stayed with her son, giving Victor a new idea.

Thanks, boss!
I’m looking forward to Maggie’s response to Victor, but I’m a little worried about Victor’s “idea”........
