Hi everyone. Thanks so much for your comments and interest all week. Here's a taste of what to expect in the coming week...
Chloe is horrified when she learns about Victor’s ultimatum. How will she react when she realizes Philip kept her in the dark?
It’s well after 5:00, so most workers went home before the “show” began, but at least two people heard everything. What will they do?

Wait--two employees? Or two people? Because Maggie could be in the 2nd category but not the first--same for Parker. I need to know more....

Chapter 10b
“I’ll have you know that I would be more than happy to let Philip keep his job,” Victor said. “He merely has to comply with the terms which, thus far, he refuses to, fool that he is.”
Chloe’s brow knit. “Terms? What are you talking about?”
“Didn’t he tell you? Hmm. I thought the two of you were supposed to be so close — that you were one of those modern couples that tells each other everything. I’m surprised he didn’t mention it.” Victor’s tone was almost gleeful, while Chloe dug her fingernails into the chair she was standing behind. She was running out of patience. “It’s simple, actually,” Victor continued. “All he has to do is walk away from you and he gets to keep his job, and perhaps even replace me as Chief Executive Officer of Titan — all of Titan. Not much of a sacrifice, is it? He merely has to trade nothing…” He motioned to Chloe. “…for everything.” He spread his arms out.
Chloe’s eyes grew as large as saucers. “Are you kidding me?”
Victor had a wry smile on his face as he clasped his hands together under his chin. “Do I look like I’m joking?”
Chloe gasped. “How dare you give him an ultimatum like that after the hell Philip and I have been through to be together!”
“Hell, you say. Hmmm. I approve of that description, and I agree that every moment with you must have been hell for Philip.”
Growing more enraged by the minute, she disregarded Victor’s comment. “We’ve also been through hell dealing with a kidnapped son and working so hard to get him back...” She swallowed hard. “To get him back to being a normal happy child again.”
“Another example of my son’s foolishness. If he hadn’t ahem slept with Monica Frasier—”

I just don't understand why Victor is doing this. Surely it's not going to serve any good purpose. He's smarter than this.

I'm very happy Chloe is defending Philip. It's good that Philip and Maggie are hearing all of this. I can't wait to see everyone reacting.

Just got caught up.
I'd almost say that I can't believe that Victor went there in regards to Monica, but honestly I can. And I fully see Chloe believing every word that Victor says and the blame it all on Philip game starts all over again.
I can't wait to see the fallout from Philip and Maggie over this one.

Chapter 10c

“He never slept with her!” Chloe shouted. Even though she knew he was baiting her, she couldn’t keep her cool.
“Slept with. Mentored. Potayto. Potahto.” Victor waved his hand back and forth. “If he hadn’t encouraged that woman, Parker would have been sleeping in his own bed for the past month, no worse for the wear, so don’t bother playing the victim. You’re wearing me out.”
“Want to hear something I never told anyone, Victor? There were times I thought you might be behind Parker’s kidnapping.”
That got a rise out of Victor. “You insolent bitch! I would never do such a thing. I sent Hope and Rafe Hernandez to help find him.”
With a roll of her eyes, she said, “Yeah well, wouldn’t that be a perfect cover to deflect suspicion?”
“You honestly believe I’d do such a thing?”
“For a while, I did. Yes. I mean it’s not out of character for you. … And I guess that just goes to show we have an equally low opinion of each other.”
“I really don’t care what you think of me. All I know is you’ve brought nothing but pain and heartache to every male member of our family.” He poked his finger into the table top for emphasis. “Philip. Brady. Lucas. Daniel—”
“Oh my god,” she said looking upward. “You don’t get it, do you?”

I'm glad to see Chloe being strong and standing up to Victor. I'm also glad she finally gets that Philip didn't sleep with Monica.

I hope Philip is listening carefully—he needs to hear Chloe defending him, esp about Monica.
I reallyyyyyyy can’t wait til we see Maggie’s and Philip’s reactions to this little chat!
