Reportedly, son Joey will be in tow, but at press time, an actor had not been cast. Could be Joey will spend his time "upstairs" with Grandma Caroline and Carrie's brood -- or maybe a SORAS -- and a romance with Gabi -- is on the horizon. Of course, with daughter Stephanie's former portrayer, Shelley Hennig, currently casting spells on The CW's "The Secret Circle," and true love Patch discovering a long-lost son in Genoa City (where Stephen Nichols plays Tucker), what will there be for Kayla to do? Sure, she can help out at the family pub, but we're hoping the DAYS' new regime will find something more interesting for the uber-popular heroine to do than serve coffee. Daniel, perhaps? |

I love Kayla/Steve, though. One of my all time fave couples. But, to see Mel try to destroy Dan/Kayla would be priceless.

It would bring back the Mel her fans know and love,that's for sure,lol.I just hope they don't write Kayla as the ignorant shrew she was last time.From what we've seen of the new writers so far,it looks promising.

It'd also be interesting to see Mel fall for Joey (Steph's bro). Provided he's spunky and likeable and not another Jeremy/Dario type.

Is Kayla coming back, or is she just coming for a visit? I don't like bringing her back like the did Jenn. Hubby is missing/occupied elsewhere and she does all this smack talking about him. There is NO WAY Steve would just up and leave (Jack? Perhaps. But not Steve.). And Kayla seems too old for Dan (although I doubt anyone is too old/young for Dr. Feelgood  ). |
