Is anyone else watching Riverdale, the new CW show based on the Archie Comics?
It's somewhat dark and pretty soapy and in a lot of ways makes up for what DAYS is lacking in its teen scene nowadays. Strong, rootable characters, good acting and good writing with a murder mystery arc that ties everything together but doesn't take over the show.

I'm interested in watching. I need to catch up on-demand. I read about the premise and I'll admit that Luke Perry being part of the cast is a definite reason I want to check it out.

This sounds intriguing, and a far cry from the lighthearted cartoon it began as. It's like a fanfic that sprung from the original.

I, for one, am really enjoying Riverdale! I got into it after heroicmuse told me about it. He's right when he says that it's really soapy. There are some characters that seem a lot like characters from Days! |

I just finished watching the first episode. It's really good. I can't wait to watch more. It looks like there may be some interesting story ahead for the adults not just the teens.

It looks like there may be some interesting story ahead for the adults not just the teens. That's one of the things I really like about it. DAYS could learn something from the way the writers make both the adults and the teens interesting and give everyone story. |

Riverdale was renewed for season 2. I'm enjoying the show. I think I'm only one episode behind now. I watched a couple episodes back to back today while going through papers.

OMG... I don't know if you all are still watching, but this past week was the reveal as to who killed Jason Blossom and next week is the Season Finale. I have been glued to this show.
