I'm so glad Parker is back home with Chloe and Philip. Parker and Chloe needed to see each other to know the nightmare is over. Perfect way to end the week.

I had been planning to leave yesterday’s chapter with Chloe falling on her knees in front of Parker, but after last weekend’s cliffhanger, I get it! Hope you enjoyed this week’s episodes. Thanks for your readership. As for next week…

-The reunion continues.

-Parker does something that pains Philip to the core.

-We will begin to unravel the mysteries you’ve been wondering about.

Kpatch, I am sorry you got the wrong ideas on the cliffhanger the week before. I for one was joking with you on how mean it was. I don't believe anyone in here actually hated it, but it was nice to have a happy week ending chapter too.

Now, what does Parker do? Can't wait to continue reading how this all happened and what happens to Monica.

Chapter 27b


“Mommy!” Parker leaned into her arms and she felt his little body quivering as she held him tighter than she’d ever held him before. “It’s okay now, angel. You’re home. You’re safe.” She kissed the back of his neck, sniffling. She slowly lifted her head and her eyes met Philip’s. Philip looked exhausted, haggard, pale. She thought he looked even thinner than when she last saw him this morning. “Has he eaten?” she asked.

Philip nodded. “He was eating a sandwich in George’s office when I got there.”

Parker leaned away a little to look at Chloe. “You’re not dead, Mommy.”

Stunned at the comment, she looked up at Philip for a moment before turning back to Parker. “I’m fine angel, especially now that you’re back.”

Parker wiped his nose on his sleeve. “The lady said you died. She said you fell off the boat and drownded.”

“Oh god.” Her stomach turned. “No, I’m not dead, angel. I would never leave you,” she said, looking from Parker to Philip. She rubbed Parker’s forehead and wiped the tears from his cheeks with her palm.

“But you did leave me,” Parker sniffled.

Tears welled in Chloe’s eyes. “Never again, my angel,” she said as she lifted Parker in her arms and rose to her feet. She turned around and carried him into the apartment as Philip followed.

Inside the apartment, Hope came over and stroked Parker’s hair. “Hi Parker. Remember me? Aunt Hope?” Parker lifted his head from his mother’s shoulder and looked at Hope blankly. “I know you’re tired honey, but you think I can ask you a few questions?”

Parker looked at Chloe. “It’s okay, angel. If you feel up to it, you can trust Aunt Hope.”

Parker looked past Hope and saw Daniel and Mary. He pushed on Chloe’s shoulders and squirmed out of her arms. He ran to Daniel who immediately lifted him into his arms. “Hey buddy. It’s okay. Everything’s fine now.”

“I want to go home,” he said into Daniel’s shoulder.

That was an odd reaction. I wonder what prompted that.

Nevertheless, I'm glad Parker is safe. Curious to see what happens next.

Wait....what? He is home, right? Did Monica tell Parker something about needing to go home with Daniel???

I want to hear what Parker tells Hope! And Mary, too!

Hmmm, I hope Parker is ok. I hope he hasn't had some sort of trauma. Why is he telling Daniel though he wants to go home?

Poor Parker. That had to be hard for Phillip and Chloe to hear that Parker wants to go home with Daniel.

Poor Parker. He seems confused after everything he's been through. How awful for him to think Chloe drowned during her trip with Philip.

Poor Parker! That baby has had the most unstable life in his short time. I'm sure his reaction was one of those where he is just looking for a calm quiet safe haven where he can sort things out in his mind.

I don't like Chloe telling Parker that she will never leave him again. This is setting him up for thinking that she won't leave him to go to the grocery store, walking out of a room and leaving him alone in that room, or going on trips (work, personal, etc).



And the cliffhanger comment - girl you do cliffhangers like no other.  It definitely was not meant to be hateful or derogatory in any way!  I love giving you grief over it as much as you love to keep us guessing and wanting more
