PHILIP’S CONDO

He lifted Stephanie off the couch and carried her into his bedroom. The feel of her silky smooth skin brushing against his arms as Philip put her down on his bed turned him on all over again. This time he’s not in a rush though. This time, he had the time to look at Stephanie’s body and was struck by how young she looked. How delicate. Stephanie sat up on her knees and started kissing Philip’s chest feverishly. He took a deep breath to control his physical responses. He reached for Stephanie’s chin and lifted her face toward his, beckoning her to kiss him. But instead of kissing her lips, he teasingly rubbed his nose against her cheek, her neck, her shoulder. As he gently pushed her back on the bed, his nose traveled downward toward her breast and he kissed one while carressing the other. Her body arched and she whispered his name. “Philip.” He let his chest glide against hers as he moved his body on top of hers. She slipped her arms around him and he kissed her lips, softly, just once and he smiled.
Philip: I’ve never known anyone like you.
Stephanie: I’ll bet you say that to all the girls.
Philip quickly realized that conversation could only serve to kill the moment, so he took her lips in his mouth and held her tongue.
Stephanie: Oooh. I want you Philip.
Philip: Now that’s what I want to hear.
Philip’s lips locked with Stephanie’s and his arms enfolded her. He could feel her heart pounding as he held her closer, closer, and closer until their bodies became one.

Melanie came out from behind closed doors with Philip.
Melanie: I think we have a winner. It’s better than Book Keepers anyway.
Philip: I’m not convinced. Why don’t you do a quick and dirty survey and see what consumers think of the name.
Mimi: Hi Philip!
Philip: Meems.
Mimi kisses Philip on the cheek.
Philip: What are you doing here?
Mimi: I was in the neighborhood. Wanna grab some lunch?
Philip looks at his watch.
Philip: I have a meeting at 2:00, but sure. Why don’t we go upstairs to the Penthouse Grill since it’s close by.
Mimi: Sounds good to me.
Philip: Let me get my jacket. I’ll be right back.
Meanwhile, Melanie eyes Mimi with suspicion and disdain.
Mimi: Can I help you?
Melanie: Ha. I seriously doubt it.
Philip comes back to the reception area.
Philip: Ready to go?
Mimi: You bet.
Philip: Marie, I’ve got my cell. Call if you need me.
Marie: Yes Mr. Kiriakis. Have a good lunch.


PENTHOUSE GRILL

Mimi: So I wondered what was on fire when you ran out of the reunion a couple weeks ago.
Philip: Oh that. I didn’t mean to be rude to you.
Mimi: No worries.
Philip: So how are? You’re looking good. Great, in fact.
Mimi: Wow. Coming from you, that’s a huge compliment.
Philip: You seeing anyone?
Mimi: Actually ... I was planning to seduce you.
Philip laughs.
Mimi: That wasn’t a joke.
Philip: Seriously? Come on Meems.
Mimi: What? Why not? Why is that so hard to believe? I mean, you and me.
Philip: Mimi, you’re too nice a girl.
Mimi: Maybe I’m trying to shed that nice-girl image.
Philip: Well don’t do it. And be grateful you’re not involved with me.
Mimi: Are you kidding? Every woman wants to be with you.
Philip: Until they get to know me.
Mimi: Huh?
Philip: My life is so damn complicated right now. I just need a few more weeks and I’m outta here. I’m going back to Brazil.
Mimi: What’s making your life so complicated?
Philip: Women.
Mimi: Oh.
Philip: Too many of them.
Mimi: Anyone I know?
Philip doesn’t answer.
Mimi: Aha. Chloe’s back in the picture, isn’t she?
Philip: What makes you say that?
Mimi: Because ... you’ve always had thing for her.
Philip: Had. Past tense.
Mimi: Are you sure? If Chloe walked by our table, you’d forget I was even in the room. Am I right? Or am I right?
Philip: You’re probably right. And I would need my head examined.
Mimi: I wish I was more like Chloe.
Philip: No you don’t. Don’t ever change, Mimi.

I liked the exchange between Philip and Mimi.Odd in a sweet sort of way,lol.I loved how direct she was in her intentions toward him,but I loved the way Philip discouraged it by letting her know she was too nice a girl.Most guys wouldn't discourage so nicely.
