PHILIP’S CAR
As Philip is driving home from his office that night, he’s pretty disgusted with himself for having sex with an employee. He can’t seem to say no to women nowadays and he’s liking the effect he has on them. He’s long thought of himself as second best, second choice, runner-up, loser. Loser. ... But lately, women are throwing themselves at him and it’s filling a need he has. A need to be first choice. Better than Brady. Better than Shawn. Better. It’s as if he has something to prove. But he knows he’s playing with fire and there’s only one woman he wants right now. Stephanie. He hasn’t told her they would be exclusive. Hell, they haven’t even had sex yet. He’s just getting to know her but he really likes her. “Don’t blow it Kiriakis,” he says to himself. “Take it slow. She’s exactly the kind of woman you need. Smart, professional, not afraid to challenge me, and sexy as hell.” He looked forward to seeing her tomorrow morning. He had a meeting at Sterling Cooper and they had dinner plans tomorrow night.
STERLING COOPER OFFICES, CONFERENCE ROOM, THE NEXT MORNING
Don Draper: We think you’ll like this a lot. We wrote a jingle for Book Keepers, your online bookstore, and we hired local talent to sing the jingle.
Philip: Great. Let’s hear it.
Don: Stephanie, why don’t you bring the singer in.
Stephanie leaves momentarily and returns with Chloe.
Stephanie: This is Chloe Lane. Chloe, go ahead and start any time you’re ready.
Philip rises from his chair without thinking.
Philip: What the hell is this?

^^^What she said....all at one time??? Will Phil's head explode? I am guessing that all 3 will now go away seeing Chloe, but who knows. Maybe this story will go on a whole different direction.

Thanks for the chapters Kpatch. Just loved my Mel and Philip together. Wow now Chloe. Poor Philip is going to get so confused. Looking forward to see which girl Philip ends up with.

I love it that Stephanie chose Chloe to sing the jingle. Now he has all four women in his orbit. I can't wait to see what happens next.

All eyes turn to Philip.
Layne: Something wrong, Philip?
Philip: I’ll say. I don’t want this ... this person singing our jingle. I don’t even want a jingle. Who approved this?
Don: Well ... you did. When Stephanie gave her presentation, you said it was a great idea.
Philip: My fault for not paying closer attention. The jingle is canceled. Come up with something else.
Philip leaves the conference room and Chloe follows him out into the outer office as the others stare at each other, stunned by the turn of events.
Chloe: Philip, wait. What the hell is wrong with you?
Philip: With me??? Nothing. Nothing is wrong with me. I just don’t want you involved in my business.
Chloe: You’re being childish.
Philip: I don’t remember asking for your opinion.
Chloe: You didn’t even listen to the song. It’s good. And I’m good.
Philip: I don’t care.
Chloe: Philip, I need this job. I need the money.
Philip: What’s the matter? Alimony checks from Brady Black bounce?
Chloe: I don’t remember you being this mean and vindictive before.
Philip: Yea well, people change.
Chloe: What happened to you?
Philip: Seriously? You of all people are asking me that?
Chloe: You used to be such a sweet guy.
Philip: That was before hurricane Chloe ripped a path of destruction through my life and changed the course of my future.
Chloe: Excuse me? I’ve hardly even seen you in the last 10 years. ... Wait. You’re not seriously still mad because I broke up with you 10 years ago. That’s pathetic.
Philip: Go to hell.
Philip storms off and leaves the ad agency.
PHILIP’S CAR
Philip is driving back to Titan and hitting his steering wheel with the palm of his hand every few minutes.
Philip: Damn!
He’s angry at himself for making a scene and he’s even more angry that Chloe still gets under his skin after all this time.
Philip: "Pathetic" is right.
