Let's pay tribute to the late Gene Wilder. Do you have a favorite movie?
My favorite is a little known comedy called The Frisco Kid. Gene played a rabbi in the wild west and Harrison Ford was a gunslinger who befriended him.

Willy Wonka and Young Frankenstein are my favorites. I own both on DVD.

KP and FM those are some great picks. He had so many to choose from, I can't really choose just one.

Definitely Willy Wonka. I HATE the newest version they did with Johnny Depp. Haven't seen it, just furious that they keep trying to remake the older, better movies. Every time I see a trailer for a new older movie, I yell at the TV "Get your own **** ideas!! Leave the classics alone!" That goes for Star Wars and Ghostbusters. I REFUSE to watch the newest releases of those. Sorry. Rant over.

mae00 - I hate the Johnny Depp remake of Willy Wonka. It's awful. My kids really like it. Ugh.

I already said this in the RIP thread but I really like Silver Streak with Richard Pryor.
I have a love/hate relationship with Willy Wonka. I like all of the cool things in the movie and even Willy Wonka but it's always kind of scared me too. I guess because I was a bratty kid I thought the Oompa Loompas were going to take me away.

Those Oompa Loompas can be pretty intimidating.

Any, and every, thing Gene Wilder touched was my favorite.
