Poor Brady. Everything is going downhill for him right now. Chloe had no clue that he was having so many problems.

I feel sad for Brady, but it was his choice to take the drugs. No one tricked him into taking them. He had a choice of staying with Chloe and getting comfort or leaving and taking the drugs. Thanks for the chapter Kpatch. Sure made my day a lot better.

VIENNA
Things quickly went from bad to worse between Brady and Chloe. Try as she might, she couldn’t talk to him. He wasn’t interested in anything she had to say. Some nights he came home. Some nights he didn’t. On a couple of occasions, she went to his office to try to talk to him and he wasn’t even there. When he did come home, he slept all day.
It didn’t take long for Chloe to realize Brady was doing drugs. So she begged him to get help and he just laughed at her. Chloe couldn’t believe how fast things went downhill for them. It seemed like only yesterday when they were as happy as songbirds. Was she foolish to think their happiness would never end?

AARRGGH!! Looks like I have to remember to watch the tribute at home...I wish they had gone for some counselling or something. I hated how this happened.

VIENNA
Soon, they were living separate lives and Chloe found herself relieved on those nights when Brady didn’t come home. Things were more peaceful, and less tense when he wasn’t around. When he was around, either they wouldn’t say a word to each other, or they would argue. She couldn’t stand the yelling. It was a living hell.
She felt deep down that somehow he would stop doing drugs and things would get back to the way they used to be, the way they were when they adored each other. She often cried herself to sleep thinking those thoughts. She had never felt so lost and alone. Things were so bad now that Chloe was thinking about leaving Brady and it broke her heart.
One night, she came home from a performance and the condo looked like it had been ransacked, but the only thing missing was Brady. There was a sign of a struggle, and Chloe was scared to death.
She filed a report with the local authorities and found herself on the hotseat, being grilled about the last time she saw him and what their relationship was like. Neighbours claimed they heard arguing coming from their apartment on a regular basis, and Chloe couldn’t deny it. The incident turned into something of a scandal and the opera company fired her. So she did the only thing she could do. She packed her things and returned to Salem. And she hoped she could pick up her life where she left off.
