Either way, it must be difficult running around Vienna without a shirt all the time. It's such a shame how all the men in kpatch's stories have that awful disease anti-shirtitis.

Wouldn't it be a shame if the actors on the show all caught it too??

Not when he's just as afflicted as all the other young (or young-ish) men. Thank heavens the old guys are immune.

Since it was Kyle on the show at that time, that is also who I picture. I ahd no problem with Kyle until Eric became Brady. Now it's Kyle who???

It's such a shame how all the men in kpatch's stories have that awful disease anti-shirtitis. I have a story coming up down the road where I actually wrote an entire shirtless scene, just for you guys, the kpatch fanfic faithful. Note to self: Write entire shirtless story. Call it North Shore of Salem.

I much prefer Eric in the role but when it comes to the relationship with Chloe, Kyle comes to mind.

LATER ON SUNDAY, TITAN’S VIENNA OFFICES
Chloe had to work, so Brady figured he may as well go into the office. He logged into his computer to review the company’s quarterly operating statement and it didn’t look good. Titan’s European region was down near the bottom of the barrel in terms of profits. Titan’s Asian division was number one, U.S. number two, Middle East number three, and Europe was number four. Only the Latin American division was doing worse, mostly because of all the graft Titan had to pay out in order to do business there.
Brady has a conference call with Victor and the board of directors tomorrow morning and he knows they’re going to ask why the European division had three down quarters in a row, so Brady had better come up with a good excuse. Grandson or not, he’ll probably get fired. And then what? He was a college dropout with no credentials other than Titan – a job he got not because of his brains but because of his blood ... because he’s the grandson of Victor Kiriakis, the company founder and chairman of the board. Victor’s soft spot for his children and grandchildren stopped at the boardroom.
Brady picked up the framed photo from his desk of Victor and Isabella and gently stroked his mother’s image. Growing up without a mother taught him about self reliance. It also made him impervious to nurturing. Any time Chloe or Nicole or Marlena or any woman tried to nurture him, he bristled. He resented being “mothered” by substitutes and worked to steel himself against a void that could never be filled.
He powered down the computer and massaged his temples as he felt a headache coming on. He was feeling like an abject failure these days and he found himself plagued by all kinds of self doubt. The business his grandfather entrusted him with was failing. Chloe’s star was on the rise, while his was falling fast. Pretty ironic when you think about it. When he first met Chloe, she was an awkward teenager with little self confidence and unharnessed talent. She hung on Brady’s every word and she worshipped him. He felt like Henry Higgins to her Eliza Doolittle. He took control of her and molded her and now the student was outshining the teacher. He was happy for her. Truly he was. But he was scared. He was afraid he was going to be left out in the cold and she would have no use for him before long.
He looked at his watch and saw that it would be a couple hours before Chloe got home. He hated sitting in the condo alone, so he headed to his favorite watering hole to have a few drinks.
To be continued Monday...
