We have a worst thread, so here's the best of thread.
What are your favorite commercials these days?
For some reason I really like the Bon Jovi Direct TV ads. I like the song and the way he sings it and that look at the end of the commercial. He looks goo-oood lately. I like the humor in the commercials as well. It gets the point across so well.

I liked the Direct TV commercials with Rob Lowe. The Bon Jovi one is good too.

Its not a recent commercial, but my all time favorite is of the Budweiser Clydesdales paying tribute to the 9/11 attack. You can only find it online and it was only aired on TV I believe once in order to show their support and to not profit from it.
In all honesty, I haven't seen a Budweiser Clydesdale commercial that I didn't fall in love with....except this past year. The one where they only show bits & pieces of the horses really aggravated me. I felt like I had wasted all my time watching the super bowl waiting for that commercial. LOL.

I like the Doritos commercial from a couple years ago. There were two brothers. The younger one rode in on the dog and lassoed the Doritos away from big brother.

One of my personal favorites was a super bowl commercial from a few years ago. It features the voice of the late Paul Harvey, one of my all time favorite radio broadcasters. The commercial is for Dodge Ram, but is more about farming than anything else.

Are you reading my mind, Kpatch? I've been thinking we need this thread. I don't watch many commercials. I do like the DirecTV commercials. Also the Mayhem guy. "Turn right NOW! Recalculating."

I've seen this commercial so many times but I still like it - I think it's one of those Geico ads, the one where the guy is running from bad guys on a roof top and his mom calls talking about the squirrels being back. I think it's just well done, right down to the squirrels in the background chasing each other around the pool. I also love it when she says something about his dad refusing to call an exterminator because, "it's personal this time." It sort of invokes a Bill Murray in Caddyshack image in my head.
On a more sentimental side, is a recent commercial and I honestly can't remember what it's for but it features a father of a son with severe cerebral palsy (I think) who has been runnig marathons all his life pushing his son in a wheelchair in front of him. The son is grown now and they are still doing it. It makes me tear up.
Oh gosh, one more, the Cheerios ads with the dad and his son dancing around the kitchen. The kid is just so happy and cute.

wendylou, I love that Geico commercial too. It's so elaborate, like a mini movie, and I love how you can see the squirrels running around the pool in the background.

Kpatch, funny you should talk about the Bon Jovi commercials. (I had never seen them, so I watched the videos you posted.) I was on a fitness forum this afternoon and there was an off-topic thread about him that got closed. People were really ragging on his looks. I don't get it; he doesn't look bad. So what if his hair is gray? I bet those people who are 40+ don't look like they did in their 20s. Unless you die young, all of us will look older at some point. I'm glad the thread was closed. It was stupid.

That's pretty ironic tapdancer. I think Jon Bon Jovi looks better than ever. You know he's been married to the same woman for 26 years! That's impressive in his business.

My hubby commented that Jon is looking older. I saw him in concert when I was 17. We both looked much younger then.
