I wonder if Abby will be badly injured in the fire as a way to surgically change her face in preparation for the recast.

wendylou, that would make a great fanfic, uncovering the coverups in the SPD.

Is it bad that I don't care about Joey getting hurt and needing surgery. He is a drag on Steve and Kayla's stories and the show in general. Jade will probably sit at the hospital laughing. She's a sociopath.

I just saw that. I'm looking forward to his scenes though I'm disappointed because it sounds like we will not get to see the end of his altercation with Rory.

I saw something online that suggested that Philip had hooked up with Chloe and that the writers were considering adding in Nadia's real life pregnancy into the show. It's unsubstantiated. Some of this I saw on soapcentral boards and celebdirtylaundry. But it does seem from the various boards that there is consensus in that Chloe will be returning to Salem pregnant as well as having secrets. Some of which will be revealed up front. There's a bit of a surprise who's the daddy but I'm thinking it's between Philip and Shawn. But going back to what I said before I really hope that its Philip.

Thanks silvananoir1. I definitely want Philip and Chloe together (but am heartsick it's not with Jay Johnson playing Philip) but I'm tired of all the off-screen stuff. Why is the show even on air if there's so much happening off-screen and the off-screen stuff is better than what's on-screen?

Yeah, my love of Phloe is because of Jay and Nadia's chemistry. But I want our chance so bad, a lot will depend on the chemistry. But it just won't be the same. My love of Days started in 2000 right before the last blast. I was in eighth grade when I caught the show by accident and decided to watch and got introduced to the teen scene and Phloe were my couple. I identified with Chloe and loved them so much. I've waited years for them to just get a real shot at being a couple but without Jay. Well I'll watch to support Nadia at the very least.

silvananoir1, that's the way I feel about my favorite couple. Jason Cook and Kirsten Storms will always be the "real" Shawn and Belle to me. I don't like the jokers who portray them now. Honestly, Shawn and Belle can go back to Maine for all I care.

I feel your pain. Bradon and Martha are great but their not Shawn and Belle to me either. While I was always more of a Phloe fan, I appreciated everyone in the teen scene and was thrilled when the actors reunited on my backup GH.
