So if you're on this board we know one of your guilty pleasure shows is Days (at least it is for me. My friends make fun of me for watching a soap but I don't care) but what are some of the other shows you love to watch but maybe aren't so proud to let people know about. Those shows that aren't exactly "quality TV."
For me it's some of the Real Housewives shows, and as much as I kind of despise their vapidness, I often find myself flipping channels and getting sucked into those Kardashians and their lame show. I also kind of like this show on TLC called Single Dad Seeking.
Your turn.

I used to watch Dance Moms. The fakeness, the mama drama, a show to watch to remind yourself that even in your craziness moments that at least you're not "that crazy".
Now it's anything on HGTV. Because when the kids are in school and I want the TV on for noise, HGTV makes me feel "classier" than if I had the TV on all the daytime talk shows. LOL!

I love "The People's Couch". "Real" people watch tv shows and comment as they are watching. Their comments are more fun than the shows. The people are a real mix of generations and life styles.
My other guilty pleasure is reruns of "Hart to Hart". The show is dated and somewhat sexist but for some reason I never get tired of it.

Days of our LivesI don't watch anything else on TV, aside from some classic TV shows sometimes. I don't watch movies, either.

I don't watch a lot of TV outside of DAYS but I do love Doctor Who and Torchwood. I can't think of any guilty pleasures per se but other than the shows I'm covering for TV Fanatic I absolutely won't miss Chicago Med. People would probably make fun of me if they knew I occasionally watch classic kids' shows on YouTube like Square One TV and Mister Rogers. At least my nieces and nephew are 5 so I have an excuse lol. tapdancer I'm into classic TV too. Jack Benny is my favorite. I bought a DVD set with four discs worth of episodes last summer.

Where to begin...Big Brother, Mistresses and Devious Maids come to mind. Maybe there's a reason they are all summer shows. I've never heard of the People's Couch kathyj. It sounds like Mystery Science Theatre.

Anything on I.D. Network really, like Scorned: Love Kills, Deadly Women, See No Evil, Murder Among Friends, etc.
I also sometimes watch Kendra On Top & Braxton Family Values. The Braxtons are a pretty wild and crazy clan! LOL!

heroicmuse's mention of the Jack Benny Show reminded me of another of my guilty pleasures. Not TV but related. I love listening to old time radio shows from the 40's. I especially like the detective shows -- Sam Spade, Philip Marlowe, Johnny Dollar, and Broadway Is My Beat.

Great thread with a lot of great replies.
I do not watch much TV. Currently there is not any "must see TV" for me. The last two I really followed were Longmire and Hell on Wheels. The last season of Hell on Wheels was turrible. I would like to watch Better Call Saul, but it comes on at 9pm on Mondays. Which is past my bedtime and a school night.
If I am just bumping around from channel to channel I lean towards the older stuff. Early Sunday morning I caught Dobie Gillis, it was great, haven't seen a episode of Dobie in quite some time.
Well.....There You Have It!

Gilligan was Dobie Gillis's best friend. Yes, Bob Denver played Maynard. I found a clip and I swear Dobie and Maynard are in the Salem Park. LOL
