Chloe is continuing to be completely ridiculous. Her anger is definitely out of proportion. This whole thing is not a big deal at all, though Philip saying that is not helpful.
Philip is right, this is their unhealthy pattern. It would be nice to see some progress.

Wow. I just don't quite understand what's going on in Chloe's head that makes her THIS hostile. I get upset, I get hurt, but this reaction seems over the top, even for Chloe. I really want these two to work this out for themselves, but this situation may call for a visit to Dr Richards.

I don't think this is a keeping an appearance This is not involving your kid in your marital issues She's taking this way too far Maybe Philip should have communicated the legality part but at this point she's blown it so out of proportion that she's the only wrong person here Philip already has a father to treat him like he's wrong in everything He doesn't need Chloe doing it too He tried to do a romantic thing and she took the romance and the fun out of it What a diva

Okay, yes, Philip's communication skills could use some work. However, Chloe is blowing this way out of proportion! I could understand being a bit disappointed, but this is ridiculous. I really hope they get out of this pattern soon. This seems like a huge step back for their relationship. It would be nice to see them make some lasting progress. Thanks for the chapter, Kpatch

Seriously Chloe! When the heck was he supposed to tell you that it wasn't really legal? Before he surprised you? Philip: "Oh, by the way, I have a surprise for you but it isn't exactly legal but go along with it anyway." Or afterwards once you two had hit the sheets Philip: "So I have something to tell you but don't get mad. That ceremony wasn't legal" Yeah, THAT would have went over real well. She would have been mad at him for taking the romance out of the whole thing. Bless his heart, he was in a lose/lose situation no matter which way he went. Chloe really needs to take a step back here and see this for what it is.....a simple, spur of the moment, romantic gesture to make HER happy. Once again, things didn't go the way that she wanted/thought/intended and she's throwing the temper tantrum of a 2 year old.

I think Philip should have stopped after the apology. Let her calm down and then they can talk. Telling her it doesn't really matter anyway since the real wedding date is almost here isn't helping.
People's reactions to a shock vary. Obviously Chloe needs more time to process what felt like a deception to her. It would have probably been better for her to go home and have a little time to herself while Philip picked up Parker from the daycare.

You mean these people aren't real?? 😢 Seriously, though--my grandmother and her best friend would get together in the afternoons to watch their soaps. None of the grandchildren ever knew if they were talking about real people or characters from their shows when the two of them would visit during commercials--we always had to ask!

LOL melly. My grandmother was a big fan of As the World Turns. She called soaps "granny stories." Everyone, be sure to tune in to tomorrow's episode of Road to Forever. It's must-read fan fic!

Chapter 59
Philip glanced up at the lighted floor numbers. “But in a minute, this elevator door will open on the 15th floor and we’re gonna see people we work with. And our son.”
Chloe rolled her eyes. “Oh of course,” she said sarcastically. “And we must keep up appearances, mustn’t we?”
“Look, I’m mostly concerned about Parker picking up on your anger. He’s very sensitive to that, remember? He freaks out when we fight. Like Mary said—”
“Don’t you dare tell me what my son is like,” she said through clenched teeth. “I know all about Parker. I know what he’s thinking. I know what he’s feeling. And I know that right now, he’s waiting in day care, excited to greet his parents who he hasn’t seen in days and he’s expecting us to be as happy as he is. So don’t tell me about my son!”
Philip closed his eyes briefly, trying to collect his thoughts and emotions. When the elevator doors opened on the 15th floor, Chloe put her phone away and rushed out, with Philip walking a few feet behind her.
A number of people called out to them. “Hey, welcome back, good to see you, how was your trip?”
Philip and Chloe each put on their best fake smile and waved at their colleagues as they headed to the day care center.
Chloe stopped short at the doorway to the day care center, and Philip stopped right behind her.
There was an odd scene going on inside. A uniformed police officer was talking to a couple of the day care workers. One of the women was crying.
“What’s going on,” Chloe said as she and Philip stepped further into the room.
Philip touched Chloe’s back and walked around her toward the policeman. He glanced at the man’s badge. “Officer Rivera, I’m the head of Titan Media. What’s going on here?” He gestured toward Sharon, the woman who was crying. “Why were the police called?”
“We’re investigating a missing child report,” the officer replied flatly. “A five year old boy. Have you seen him?” He held up a photo. “His name is Parker Kiriakis.”

I'm wondering if this is a fantasy since Chloe and Philip are both freaked out. Surely someone would have told them before they got to the day care if Parker was missing. Or did Mary kidnap him? Lol Either way I'm sure this is not really the end. Previews/new story Kpatch?

What?!?!?!?! Not Parker!!!! Why couldn't they have kidnapped Chloe or Philip?? Not sweet little Parker!
I hope that Philip and Chloe get the full story before they blow up on someone.

Holy cliffhanger ending Please tell me there will be previews to a new story? ? Also the more Chloe flips out the more I start to dislike her She takes it too far saying "my son" as if Philip isn't his father He is trying and honestly she's just making everything into a big thing It's a little harsh
