So excited that this movie is coming out later this month. I loved the original. I liked it so much I took my mom to see it the second time I went. It was such a charming movie and the trailer for MBFGW2 looks adorable. I wonder if Ron will go with me or if I have to find a chick friend to take.

I loved the original movie. It was so funny and it tickles me to see their daughter practically all grown up. This sequel looks like it might be about as good & funny as the original.

I love that they got all the original cast members for part 2. And doesn't Nia Vardalos look fantastic? She looks better than she did in the original.

I loved the first movie UhSir. It's the only movie I've wanted to see since 50 Shades. I'm so glad you loved #2.

I liked it, but didn't adore it. It was more depressing than I expected. I'd still recommend it, though.

Now I'm curious, unavitasegreta. You gotta tell me! Was it... Gus being stubborn about proposing? When he finally did it made me tear up. And he was adorable at the wedding, looking heartbroken, but then when he looked up and saw Maria his expression was adorable.
There were so many little funny bits that I think it balanced out really well.

I loved all the Gus and Maria stuff ... that was great! I thought Toula's obsession with their daughter and not having a life outside of her and neglecting her marriage was depressing and that she'd gone back to her old life at the restaurant and seemed to hate it were depressing. The movie was hilarious! I LOVED that we get to see everyone from the original again.

She didn't have much choice about going back to the restaurant since the travel agency tanked. I saw the obsessing over her daughter as an escape from the restaurant. Remember in the first movie how she was stuck there because everyone else was too busy with their own lives? But the whole thing was about letting themselves get into a rut. Just like Gus and Maria. Maria jumped at the idea of getting out of the rut, even though she didn't really want to. I like how things criscrossed, like the shadow discussion. She got out the rut and pulled some of the others out with her.
