CHAPTER SIX
They had no idea someone was watching their every move. Someone very clever, and very devious.
Someone who would stop at nothing to achieve the things he wanted.
Even if someone had to die in the process.
“How much longer do we have?” Hope demanded tensely as Steve spend towards the park.
Kayla checked her watch. “22 hours…and fifty-three minutes.”
“This is crazy,” Hope muttered. “I mean, who would do this? Someone who obviously knows every aspect of Bo’s life. He’s got a lot of friends in Salem—but the scary thing is, he’s probably got just as many enemies. I mean, we were separated for a while; I don’t know everything that went on in his life while we were apart. And I haven’t got a clue who would want to do this.”
Steve patted her shoulder sympathetically. “We’ll find him, Hope. We won’t let you—or him—down. He’s my brother, you know.” Hope smiled sadly. She knew that even though Steve and Bo weren’t biologically related, they were as close as a set of brothers could be. As long as there was a chance that Bo was alive, Steve would never give up looking for him. He had traveled to Mexico to find him, after all. Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends. Steve was certainly prepared to do that, if necessary.
Hope’s thoughts were jolted back to the present as she heard her phone begin ringing. “Hello?” she demanded as she picked up the phone. “Carolyn? What’s wrong?”
Steve watched her as her eyes darkened. She said softly “ok,” then hung up the phone.
“What is it?” Steve demanded fearfully.
He took his eyes off the road for a split second.
“Steve, look out!” Kayla shouted.
Steve struggled to turn the wheel, but he had already lost control of the car.

Oh no. I hope they don't have an accident. They don't need any delays. I wonder what Caroline said to Hope.

First off, I want to apologize for my tardiness with the next chapter; I have three different scenarios I have been playing around with, and none of them just seem right. I take my writing seriously and I want it to be right, so if you all can bear with me just a few more days of editing, I will take care of the next little bit of this story. Thank you, and sorry again.

Wondering if you will be finishing this story? It makes me very sad when stories go unfinished and there are too many people who leave their stories here unfinished. SaveSaveSaveSave

It never seemed right to be that they would bring Bo back just to die. If they could cure Roman of that "jungle fever" he was dying of in the '90s, they could figure out a way to keep Bo alive. I think they would have if Peter hadn't wanted to leave. Brain tumors seem to be a popular route for an actor who wants to leave. The character of Lexie was written out that way too.

CHAPTER SEVEN
“My god,” Steve muttered as he got out of the car and went to inspect the damage. Seeing Hope’s look of fear and concern had caused him to lose control of the car, and it had gone into a ditch. The damage didn’t appear too bad physically, but Steve knew they would have to get a tow truck to pull the car out of the ditch. “Is everyone alright? Hope, Kayla?” “I’m fine,” Kayla said as she rubbed her chilled arms.
“Me, too,” Hope said quickly. “How bad is it?” “Well, we’ll have to get someone to pull it out for us,” Steve said. “I’m sorry…I got distracted, and I caused an accident.” “It’s not your fault,” Kayla said as she gave him a quick reassuring hug. She loved that Steve had always been her protector and would gladly go down fighting before he let anyone hurt them. It was a quality that Bo had also possessed. Seeing their brief display of affection made Hope realize how much she missed her Brady. Her heart dropped a few feet with sadness. “Hope? What are you thinking about?” Kayla asked. Hope shrugged, trying to hold back the tears that were beginning to form behind her eyes. “It’s nothing.” “Sure, it is.” Steve stepped in front of her and regarded her through his one good eye. “What did Caroline say to you on the phone just now? You looked terrified.”
“She said…she had a vision of him,” Hope said quietly, her voice growing softer with each word. “What kind of vision?” Steve demanded anxiously. “She said he was…he was being tortured,” Hope said softly. “But she couldn’t see by who. She said she could feel his terror. He’s being deprived of food and water, and he keeps getting injected with something. He’s strapped to some kind of table. In time, she’s afraid he won’t remember anything. Sounds like someone is trying to erase his memories.” “But why?” Steve demanded. Hope met his eyes. “Whoever is doing this wants to make sure he never remembers me,” she explained. “What we had was special, and clearly, someone is threatened by that.” “That’s why we have to find him,” Steve said with newfound urgency. “If he can’t protect himself, it’s up to us to protect him. We will find him, Hope! Kayla, call a tow truck and tell them to get down here right away.” “I can’t get any service,” Kayla said. “What are we going to do?” Steve looked around grimly. “We walk,” he said simply. “Are you ladies up for an adventure?” Hope steadied herself, and her eyes flashed with her usual determination. “I can handle it,” she said. “I’ll go to the ends of the earth if it means I’ll find Bo there. Let’s go.” “You may have to prove that,” Steve said with a slight smile as he and Kayla fell in step beside Hope.
