I haven't seen the scene yet but I know people around diabetics recognize insulin shock before others do.....my father was diabetic as well as a dear close friend, and you know immediately what's going on when they go into insulin shock...... And as I said, I did not see the scene, but I would guess that Chad gave the shot in Stefano's hand because Stefano being Stefano, I'm assuming he was in suit and tie....Chad would have to get Stefano out of his suit jacket, get his shirt open, or sleeve rolled up or get his shirt tail out of his pants and pulled up, to administer the shot as it probably should be administered....so I for one, am glad we did not have to witness the struggle of making it totally realistic or see the parts of Stefano that would have been exposed if done so....... If Stefano was in a short sleeve polo or even shirtless, then I take it all back....... And PS, I gave my Lhasa Apso a shot of insulin every morning and I gave it to him in the fatty skin at the back of his neck......just making conversation...!!!!!

Thanks Kpatch. Ohh poor Joe. That looked so painful. Not even an insulin syringe and an IM needle. Chad was not giving it IV pust as he did not even look for a vein or check for blood return before the injection. I would quickly not be allowed to practice nursing if I did something like that. Guess that's why Chad is not a nurse.

If you're willing to suspend the reality aspect of this,it was a great scene with Chad remaining much more calm than anyone else and immediately jumping in to administer the shot.I was pretty impressed

I agree. Chad was very calm and acted quickly to get the shot. It was very touching that as he was giving the shot he was asking Stefano to please wake up.

Exactly.in moments like this, because I know how fast you have to move,I'm willing to suspend the reality of it (this IS Days after all, lol),but I loved how in the midst of an intense moment they managed to infuse a little tenderness.Chad seems like someone who doesn't openly express the warm and fuzzies, but in this instance it was pretty realistic to me that he would.

I didn't have that many. My PVR was broken for a little over two weeks so I wasn't able to see. I just managed to watch all of this weeks. Turns out it wasn't the Canadian episodes either, so I still haven't seen Monday's episode. I set the PVR to the wrong channel. Lame. Oh well, this week was good., I put my thought into a catching up thread but it's long so I don't blame you if you don't read it all LOL
