I really wished that instead of recasting Maxie that the show would have just wrote off the character while KS is recovering from her illness. I don't want to have Maxie and Spinelli reunite with this different actress playing her.

I really was against Lisa being brought back but now that I read some spoilers on the daytime royalty website about there being a murder mystery that will be played out until february sweeps where someone on the boat is supposed to kill Lisa and we won't know who it is. Everyone is going to be given a motive that makes it really look like they could have done it.

The Franco stuff is definitely getting on my nerves right now and the only good thing about it is that I can't wait for the final showdown between Franco and Jason just so that we could be done with this whole Franco mess. I am not looking forward to this storyline at all especially now that I read spoilers about Sam being kidnapped by Franco and she ends up thinking that he raped her even though he doesn't. Also Sam is supposed to end up pregnant by Jason and will think that Franco may be the father until a paternity test at Christmas time confirms that Jason is the father. This storyline sounds like it is going to be a little too dark for me and I usually like darker storylines better than the lighter ones.

I really am not liking the stuff right now with Lucky going to Ireland. I just want to forget all about Siobhann's existence on this show.

I am really interested in what is going to be going on in Wyndemere and wish that we could get some movement on this storyline. This is the one storyline I am most interested in because I am sure it is going to involve the Cassadines. I have always been a big fan of the Cassadine/Spencer stuff and really hope that some new Cassadine besides Helena is behind the mysterious stuff that happened with the painting of Laura at Wyndemere. I would actually love to see Laura brought back for this storyline.

I am a big Johnny Zacchara fan and I hate that he got injected by Lisa today. I am curious as to what is going to happen to him.

I am wondering what exactly is going to be going on with Lulu. It looks like she is finally going to start going down the same destruction path that Luke and Lucky have gone down. I really wonder if she is going to end up suffering a nervous breakdown like Laura did.

I am so sick and tired of all the Sonny stuff on the show and really don't give a damn about him and Kate. There was really no reason why Kate needed to be recasted with this new actress that I don't care for.

I am really getting curious as to who this Margaret person is that will be coming to Port Charles that Steve knows from Memphis.

I don't mind seeing Matt and Liz together temporarily while Lucky is in Ireland but I really want Lucky and Liz to reunite sooner rather than later. Matt definitely has more chemistry with Liz than he does with Maxie. Apparently Liz is supposed to end up being injected with something by Lisa and Matt is going to have to help save her according to spoilers.

I agree, they could have come up with something for Maxie to do offscreen while KS is recuperating. They could have had Kate send her off somewhere for work related stuff or to go visit somebody, presumed kidnapping or dead.....anything to get this Charity Rahmer wannabe off my screen!!

Lots of rumor/spumors/spoilers out there as to the future of our favorite fictional daytime town, and here's a few more...

JaSam: Everything you've been reading/hearing about Franco/Sam is a go, but the fallout is going to be huge.
**Sam will suffer from PTSD from her experience at Franco's hands, and Jason will reach out to an unlikely choice for advice and help. And his choice will also be very helpful to Sam, although she's not going to be too grateful about it at first because she's in denial. She will come around though.
**Jason's personality change will become more apparent, especially to Sam, and she'll begin to wonder if this New Jason is a danger to her and to her bundle of joy.
**The Morgan family is to receive their addition sometime their spring/summer, and the early rumor is that the new parents are going to have some issues with Baby Morgan - meaning, it's a possibility that this baby is going to maybe be developmentally disabled. Jason wonders how his profession will come into play, and Sam will have to deal with finally having the child she's so longed for, but not.
(Expect A LOT of angst for this couple in the upcoming months!!!)

Elizabeth: Obviously, there's been a lot of Liz-Bashing going on on our screens (and off), but there's a reason for that. GW likes the character of Elizabeth and wants to make her stronger, feistier. And Elizabeth is going to need it.
**Elizabeth will hang on to her resolve to finally say good-bye to Lucky Spencer once and for all, and TPTB are testing her with Matt and the new therapist headed to PC (Ewan), but who will she eventually end up with? Well, it'll take a while, but Liz may very well learn that NEITHER man is the one she should be with.
**Liz will NOT ping/pong between Matt and Ewan. Matt's not-so-subtle crush will grow into the real thing, while Liz is firmly on the "Friend" side. And Matt's darker side will come out when he realizes Ewan has taken interest in his interest.
**Yes, Elizabeth is the person Jason will reach out to to help Sam deal with her attempted rape. As stated above, Sam will be pretty nasty about it, but she'll come around, and Liz will help her.

Lisa's Murder: Yep...Ding Dong the Wicked Witch is dead! And there are a slew of suspects. But who wielded the killing blow?
**Patrick, Robin, Elizabeth, Maxie, Spin, Anthony Z., Steve, Olivia and Matt are all involved in this s/l, and here's the twist: One of the above will be charged and tried, one will actually have done it, and several will know the truth but remain quiet. And this is where Anthony Z's "payback" to Maxie comes into play.
**Expect JaSam to get involved, peripherally, in this s/l, because the people they know and love are involved. But it's won't be "Jason Saves The Day". But they might find themselves on the witness stand, albeit very, very reluctantly, and on opposite sides of the courtroom - meaning, one testifies for the defense while the other for the prosecution.

GH's new Doctors: They're a welcome addition to GH and to PC...but for how long?
**It's already been dropped that the new Peds Doc has a history with Steven, and right now, it's a toss up as to whether Steven will wind up with Olivia or Maggie, but we'll see.
**Maggie knows all of Steven's deepest, darkest secrets, and how far will Steven go to make sure they're not revealed?
**Olivia's claws are going to come out. Maggie will be a threat, but Olivia will fight to the bitter end to hang onto a man she realizes she loves very deeply. And will Olivia discover the secret that Steven and Maggie are trying desperately to keep hidden?
**Ewan will become involved with many of the FEMALE residents of PC: Lulu, Elizabeth, and Sam. He'll counsel Lulu, will counsel Sam (because of the Franco situation), and will become interested in Elizabeth. But him knowing the worst of all our favorite ladies' may not be such a good thing. Plus, there's a rumor that his interest in Elizabeth isn't as altruistic as it may seem. It could be that, while Ewan is new to Elizabeth, Elizabeth isn't new to Ewan.
**And how is this new doc connected to Steven and possibly Maggie?

Spinelli:
**TPTB have seemed to dictate that in order for our favorite techno-geek to stay around, he needs a backstory...and it's acomin'.
**Spin's going to find himself connected to some major players in PC...and Maxie is NOT going to be too happy about it.
**Spin will also lay the down with his Maximista. He's had enough of being her punching bag.

The Lady in White/Wyndemere:
**GW is prepping this story in two different directions, depending as to whether or not GH gets Genie Francis back. But it's going to involve almost as many players as the "Who Killed Lisa?" s/l? In fact, they're going to be slightly interweaving.
**Ethan, Maxie, Spin, Elizabeth, Matt, Ewan and possibly Steven and Maggie and Olivia will all become involved. And, of course, Helena Cassadine.
**There have been a lot of rumors about a possible Faison return, or, finally, the long-awaited appearance of Valentin Cassadine. It seem that one of these characters will show up, the other, no.

Lucky:
**While he's traipsing around Ireland, Lucky's going to fall to the dark side. He may discover this Ronan persona too strong to resist.
**Erin Chambers will be back on our screen (but not as Shiobhan. She is dead and buried), possibly as Shiobhan's look-alike sister.
**They'll get hot and heavy for a while, but Lucky will eventually realize PC is the place he needs to be. But when he returns...
**He's not going to be very happy that Elizabeth won't give him the time of day. Elizabeth stated she's done, and she meant it. And who's this shifty new doctor hanging around her? Lucky doesn't like him, it shows, but will he cry wolf too many times for anyone to believe that Dr. Ewan isn't the good guy people think he is?

Lulu:
**Lante will get engaged, but don't expect them to marry...yet. With Julie Marie Berman looking more and more like she'll be leaving GH, it's possible that Lante won't get the happily-ever-after they've been wanting. Rumor is, IF JMB leaves, Lulu's drinking will be the reason, and let's just say that Luke isn't the only drunk-driver PC has.
**This could also be the s/l that wipes out the entire Spencer clan (sans Ethan), paving the way for Anthony Geary to finally retire, and for Jonathan Jackson to leave the show as well. A lot of hints will be dropped in November.

Scrubs:
**Yes, there appears there is another Scrubs baby on the way, and this s/l will also pave the way if Kimberly McCullough decides to leave GH...and we should be hearing something about it soon.
**Scrubs will get through "The Lisa Who Dun It" with flying colors, but their arrival from the stork will unexpectedly intertwine with the JaSam's baby s/l...and guess who's caught in the middle? You got it! ELIZABETH! Scrubs and JaSam are going to demand she pick sides...but Elizabeth won't bite. She'll refuse to choose between the two couples, and when possible tragedy strikes, Elizabeth may be the only one to save the day...but will she want to? Or will Scrubs and JaSam regret their actions? Rumor is, JaSam and Scrubs are going to have eat their words.

The Fate of GH:
**With "The Chew" tanking, ABC seems to be flip-flopping as to whether or not to keep GH on the air and to go ahead with plans for "The Revolution". It could be that GH will stay on our screens but simply be bumped back to a new timeslot.
**Brian Frons is in the hot seat with ABC because "The Chew" is not delivering as he said it would. Rumor is, this is make it or break it time for the ABC President, and if he isn't careful, he may find himself out of a job. Reportedly, Frons assured his boss's that the backlash over ending AMC and OLTL would dissipate, but it hasn't. Not only is "The Chew" facing backlash from soap fans, but also from reviewers who have nothing to so with soaps. Reviews have NOT been positive. In fact, they've been down right ugly. And of course, it's not helping that Mario Batalli is whining about nasty soap fans hating him and the show.

The reported Jason/Sam/Liz triangle:
**There won't be a Liason reunion - at least, not in the way Liason fans hope. GW wants to re-establish the FRIENDSHIP between Jason/Liz, but she won't come between the JaSam marriage.

Ric:
**Right now, it's up in the air as to whether Rick Hearst will return. But if he does, expect him to cause problems between him and Kate...meaning, Ric may know Kate's secret and cause all kinds of havoc. And if he returns to PC, there isn't going to be a LiRic reunion.

Kristina:
**She's coming back saucier, sexier, and much more aggressive. Ethan Lovett is in her sights, and she'll stop at nothing to get her man.
**She'll also cause a lot of worry for her mother and older sister. Sam, through Kristina, will see her past come back to haunt her.

Molly/Morgan:
**They are thinking of SORASing her and Morgan to older teens.
**There's a possibility that GH will also be SORASing Cam and Aiden.

Jake:
**Right now, GW is up in the air as to whether everyone favorite little blonde-haired, blue-eyed little tyke is actually alive. If GW decides to go that direction, we'll start hearing about it by year's end...and in a very unexpected way and by a very unexpected source.

Could Sam be expecting a baby soon?

Molly may be headed to boarding school for a little while

Kristina will be back with a fiesty new attitude and a need to get even. She's got a thirst for danger and she's set her sights on a new target

I don't really read a lot of GH spoilers but I was curious about whether some rumors I heard were actually going to be true and it looks like some of them are actually confirmed here.

Thanks for posting these Karebr. The best part is the stuff about Frons being in the hot seat over "The Chew" failure. The white lady/Wyndermere and Lisa murder mystery storylines sound great... and I notice a distinct lack of Sonny and Carly and that makes me smile. The possibility of the Spencers leaving and a recast for Molly however, makes me see red. The Spencers and Molly are my favorite characters on the show (and Tracy of course who is a Spencer by marriage). I don't know what idiot in charge of casting keeps making these horrendous sorasing decisisons but I wish they were the one let go instead of all of these mega talented youngsters like the actresses for Kristina and Molly.

I definitely don't want the Spencers to be written off the show since they are one of my favorite families besides the Quartermaines and the Zaccharas. However I definitely could see Tony Geary deciding to retire if Genie Francis doesn't come back and Jonathon Jackson and Julie Marie Berman leave. I wonder why JMB is thinking about leaving since she has had plenty of meaty material this past year. JJ, I could actually understand him wanting to leave since the writing this past year has been really pathetic for him. I really hope that if all 3 actors do leave that they don't actually kill off the whole Spencer family.

I'm actually not surprised either that Kimberly McCullough is thinking about leaving since she is involved in a lot of other stuff outside of acting and actually ended up taking a leave of absence from GH for a short while last year while she was doing some of those other things.

I'm glad to see that Mac is finally going to be given some kind of storyline.

I also really like the idea of Liz helping Sam deal with the Franco stuff since Liz could relate to what Sam is going through.

I definitely like that it looks like Carly and Sonny may be getting backburnered for a while.

I hate that they are thinking about sorasing Molly since I really like the actress who is playing her now. I wouldn't mind seeing a different actor in the Morgan role since I don't like the one they have now.

The Wyndemere storyline is definitely the one that I am most interested in and can't wait to see what is in store for it. I wouldn't mind another Cassadine being brought on but I am not really interested in Caesar Faison being brought back if they decide to do that.

I am so glad that Spinelli is finally going to stand up to Maxie and not be her punching bag anymore. He should have done that a long time ago.

I'm not sure how I feel about the possibility of Jake still being alive after the heartfelt storyline that was done about his death. On one hand I would love for Jason to have his son back but on the other hand since Jasam are having a baby it seems like Jason will have a new child to be a father to. Also if Lucky is leaving then Jake will just be a way to connect Liason together and I don't want them to have that kind of bond again. I would much rather have Jasam deal with problems of their own without Liz being thrown in the mix all the time.

I am glad that Fron is taking some major heat over the cancellation of AMC and OLTL and that The Chew is bombing big time. I really hope that ABC thinks hard about cancelling GH.

Most of this sounds good. I like the JaSam stuff and the "who dunnit" murder mystery. Can't wait for Lisa to DIE!

Sounds like Elizabeth is going to get a bit feistier which is good. I was sort of hoping for a Liz/Matt pairing but it sounds like they'll be moving her more toward the new doctor. The whole Lucky in Ireland and the Siobhan look alike sounds stupid. I was really hoping to not ever see her again. The way these are worded makes you wonder if Liz/Lucky really is end game, especially if JJ leaves the show. So the Spencer family might be going bye bye...sheesh.

Yeah, I don't see the point of bringing back Jake. The storyline and fallout from his death was really well played out onscreen and I don't see how they could bring him back at this point. Yeah, I know Days brought back a ton of people from the dead but this is different. With JaSam having their own baby and apparently no reason or plans to reunite Liason, what would be the point of bringing Jake back? Yes, it was sad and tragic that he died but let's just leave it at that.

LOL at Frons and the Chew! What a douchebag that guy is. And all I keep hearing about is how much the Chew is tanking. Maybe if soap fans keep fighting, GH will stay on the air.

I just found out from the Daytime Royalty site that Jonathan Jackson is leaving GH. He is taping his last scenes on November 17th. Apparently he is leaving the show because he wanted to ease up on his work load and the show wouldn't do it plus he also wanted to be paired with Rebecca Hearst for a Lucky and Liz pairing and the show didn't want to go with it.

I really hope that Lucky is not killed off. As much as I like JJ in the role I actually wouldn't mind seeing GH bring Greg Vaughn back as Lucky just so that Lucky is still in Port Charles.


I'm a week behind in watching but I can't wait to see the Sam/Jason/Franco stuff. I also can't believe how much I am really liking Patrick and Robin right now and can't wait to see their stuff with the Lisa murder.

I finally got caught up with watching General Hospital and I am definitely not liking this whole Franco/Sam/Jason storyline since it is hitting too close to home with something that has happened to me in the past with myself being raped. I really hate the whole Lucky in Ireland storyline and was so mad to see Siobhann back on the show today even if it was only in a dream. I am kinda curious as to what is going on with Aidan and the bruises. I am looking forward to seeing the Luke/Lulu scenes today. As much as I don't like Kate, I actually did enjoy her scenes with Johnny where they were talking about the past. I really don't care too much for this new Maggie character but hopefully after I get to see her more often she will grow on me.

Maggie didn't make a good first impression on me. Maybe I've been watching too much OLTL and their extreme "indicating" acting gestures that make me nuts.... the actress playing Maggie had too much of that same stereotypical soap opera "startle" for my taste.

The thing that annoys me about Kate is that the character is actually very interesting, but the acting and storyline kill it. If the previous actress were still in the role and the focus was on Kate instead of Sonny, I would be loving it. Self made woman determined to better her life now realizes she left behind the good things like family and love on her way to success - now that's a story modern women could relate to, but that's not the story they're telling.

I was annoyed to see Siobhan again too, but I like the Jake part and I like that the Aidan story will give Luke a chance to come through for his family.

I'm sorry to hear of what happened to you in the past Karebr and agree the Sam/Franco/Jason storyline is difficult to watch. I will give GH credit though on learning from their own past actions. I like that when they handle sensitive real life issues like rape and abuse, that they take it seriously and show the effect it has on the victim (Sam) and no doubt they will handle Sam's recovery responsibly as well. They focus on the victim surviving rather than whitewashing the criminal and rewarding him for his actions.

ABC Daytime is just about over. They announced today that they’re writing out a major “General Hospital” character. Kimberly McCullough, 33, has been on the show on and off since 1985, starting as a child.McCullough’s character, Robin Scorpio, became infected with HIV in the late 1980s from her boyfriend. Now it seems “GH” will likely kill her off from AIDS–and this should make everyone everywhere pretty angry since AIDS deaths have been reduced greatly over the years. The Robin character was a symbol of hope.

McCullough joins Jonathan Jackson, another young actor with a long history on the show, heading for the exits. “General Hospital” is only weeks away from its cancellation notice, as it will be replaced by Katie Couric‘s talk show in September 2012. ABC has successfully destroyed its fifty year history of soaps in the afternoon, loyal viewers, and consistency. “All My Children” is gone. “One Life to Live,” which has had a big resurgence this year, ends on January 13, 2012.

Congratulations to Brian Frons, the ABC exec who over saw the dismantling. He masterfully figured out ways to drive fans from the shows in order to lower their ratings, and kill them. The good news is, whoever’s left watching ABC daytime will know how to cook a chicken and how to execute a wine reduction. This is valuable information.

The question now is where Prospect Park Productions–run by Jeff Kwatinetz and Rich Frank–will ever be able to bring any of the ABC soaps to the internet as promised and planned. Recent reports indicate that they don’t have the funding to pull it off. “All My Children” star Susan Lucci says no one from Prospect Park has contacted her since September 8th. It may be that Prospect Park never had the money to back up their plans.

I am extremely disappointed that they are going to end up killing off Robin by having her die of AIDS considering how we have had to watch over and over about her preaching how important it is to take her meds.

Fron is really pissing me off more and more each day with his crappy decisions. I used to love watching ABC all the time and now it is starting to get to the point where I really hope that the network goes off the air since they don't give a damn about what viewers want to watch. ABC has always had some of the best soaps to watch and now these soaps suck so bad because Fron wants to replace them with talk shows and cooking shows. I don't know what is worse watching the destruction of GH or watching the destruction of Days. I can't believe two of my favorite soaps are both being destroyed and headed toward cancellation because the idiots who run the soaps don't give a damn about them.

Hands down, the destruction of Days is worst. The irony is that with Frons intentionally trying to destroy GH, it's still worlds better than what Corday's attempts to "save" Days has done to that show. It's a sad thing to realize that Days would have been better off with Frons gunning for it than Corday's supposed love for it. Of course, Corday is such a liar that he may have been intentionally trying to make Days fail too and just lying about what an important legacy it is to him, etc.

It's clear that GH is expecting to be terminated soon and I can't fault the actors for leaving to take advantage of better opportunities while they have the chance. It's just sad because GH is actually very well done. The writing is smart, the actors are talented and the stories are interesting and filled with heart. It should have lasted longest of all but unfortunately it was on the wrong network. I'm right there with you about ABC. They are making a huge mistake. Once the soaps are gone, so is their daytime. The Revolution looks worse than The Chew ... and way more condescending.... and I sure don't care about Katie Couric.

Seeing GH chipped away at by an outside hostile force is one thing - it's sad to see but at least I can keep loving the show and rooting for those still involved with it in the meantime. What's happening with Days is so much worse to me because they are doing it to themselves. They are ripping their own show apart from the inside and spewing out toxins at everyone else in the process. It's not as sad as it is infuriating; they are ruining even my memories of the show. I can't root for the sick freaks who are promoting such dangerous messages of hate and violence against women; I can't wish well for a show who would do that and I can't muster sympathy for the coming consequences of their actions. Days isn't just dying; it's erasing all that it ever was and trying to cause as much destruction to the show and hurt to the fans as possible along the way. It's the worst possible way to watch a once beloved show die. I feel like GH is being slowly poisoned to death by an enemy, and that Days is conducting chemical warfare against those who have loved it, not caring that they will kill themselves in the process.
