Heaven forbid Melanie should care about me AND have to tend to me if I'm sick. Those precious seconds that Melanie hesitated in Monday's episode could cost Maggie her life. Melanie stinks in a crisis.

I was just thinking that myself after watching the show. Seriously? Not that she should be in the room (for that reason), but to completely freeze up?
I also thought that she looked like she was in pain (or constipated?) before the "video" shoot. Totally bizarre day for Melanie.

Ya, I was having an "I hate Melanie" day too. Couldn't stand the inflated drama of the video. That is so 1970s. And the final straw was when she blamed Victor for Maggie getting shot. I wanted to hug Victor who was in obvious anguish, and Melanie goes and sticks it to him. Not cool.

She is annoying me as of late. She blames everyone else for everything and then she tries to come off as a saint. I am not buying it.

Mel freezing in the room with Maggie is one of the reasons Nurses and Doctors are not to look after family and loved ones. I remember at my Aunt and Uncle's airport a pilot took his plane up his wife was a trauma nurse on the ground talking to us. Her husbands plane crashed and she was not able to move off the spot she was standing. My cousin (now owner) and my Aunt treated him at the scene till urgence sante arrived. To me that was the best acting Molly B did that day. Of course you all know I love my girl Mel.

What cracked me up is that she blames Victor, but then goes to hug Brady for comfort. Um...if anyone is going to be blamed, wouldn't it be Brady?!

I don't even understand why Daniel asked Melanie to help with Maggie when Maxine was standing there right next to him and ended up assisting him anyways.
I also can't believe that Melanie was more upset about Maggie's shooting than Jennifer was since Maggie is Jennifer's aunt. It would have been more believable if Jennifer was the one who went off on Victor for Maggie being shot.
I'm just glad that Melanie didn't go into the OR with Daniel after the way that she froze up when Maggie was first brought in.
I just really wanted to give Victor a hug after Melanie went off on him for Maggie being shot. It was not his fault. She should have been going off on Brady for starting this whole mess in the first place not Victor for trying to clean up Brady's mess.

I was pondering this last night thinking maybe Mel should find another line of work. ;D And blaming Vic was so lame. Mel's reaction was the complete opposite of Jennifer's and Jenn and Maggie are related.

When watching Days I have started to realize that you need to push aside all aspects of realism to get through watching the show and be able to find some kind of enjoyment and humor in everything that DH and GT are giving us.

Melanie is an immature child who makes every situation all about her. I think she was jealous that Maggie was getting all the attention, so she had to do something to shift the focus to herself.

KpatchYou described perfectly why I have never been able to stand Melanie. At least she didn't make Daniel shift all his attention on her instead of trying to save Maggie.

Melanie was even worse in Tuesday's episode than she was on Monday. It's like she was tossing grenades here and there, just exploding in every corner. She looked all constipated when she approached Victor who looked all worried, and she said "they're using the paddles." Then she left. Reminded me of a silly scene from the movie Airplane.
