Oh my goodness. I have never heard of that. Sounds very interesting. I am gonna have to get hubby to attempt to make them. He is the cook in our house. His sister was gourmet trained and she taught him a lot.

I hate prep work. I hate chopping and cutting. I despise it. I could totally be a chef if someone did all that stuff for me, Lol.

Ziploc Omelette Crack two eggs into a quart size ziploc bag and shake it up. Add ingredients such as cheese, ham, onion, peppers, tomatoes, salsa, hashbrowns etc. to the bag and shake. Make sure to get the air out of the bag and zip it shut. Place bags into rolling boiling water for exactly 13 minutes. You can cook several bags in a large pot of water. I've seen this before but never did it... really works great?

Hubby will do dishes, but not all of them. He will do 3/4 of them and then get distracted and leave the rest. Grrr......
Back to topic. Lol.
Cheater Chicken and Dumplings:
Almost like homemade but not quite. Its easy and good.
Boneless skinless chicken (I used 2 chicken breasts) Chopped celery and carrots(as much or as little as you like) 2 cloves chopped Garlic Seasonings to taste (whatever you like- I used garlic powder, seasoned salt, and thyme) 2 cans cream of chicken soup 1 tube refrigerated biscuits (or more)
Place ckicken in large pot and cover with water. I added the seasonings, garlic, and vegetables while boiling for 15-20 minutes. Reduce heat to medium. Remove chicken and let cool. Remove some water depending on how thick or thin you would like the soup to be. Add cans of soup and mix in. Cut chicken into bite size pieces and put back in pot. Cut up biscuits and add to the soup. Cook 7-10 minutes more until dumplings are done

Shhhh. Mom's Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 lb margarine softened 3/4 c light brown sugar 3/4 c sugar 2 eggs 1tsp vanilla 1 tsp water
4 c flour 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 1 bag chocolate chips 1 c nuts (if desired)
Mix 1st 6 ingredients together in large mixing bowl and blend until creamy. Sift dry ingredients together and slowly mix in. Once it is mixed in you can add the chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes. Makes about 4 dozen.
This is my mom's recipe and it makes the softest, fluffiest cookies. I use a stand mixer and I add the flour mixture by the 1/4 cup just so it doesn't create a big mess.

Taco Nacho Bake:
1 lb hamburger 1 small onion diced (if desired) 1 packet taco seasoning 1/4 can of tomato soup 1 tbs salsa 1/2 can drained corn Shredded cheese (as much as you like) Tortilla chips (I used the mini rounds)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown hamburger and onion until burger is no longer pink. Make the taco meat as directed on the packet. Once it is done add the tomato soup, salsa, and corn. Heat through. Pour mixture into a casserole dish. Put cheese on top of the mixture (as much or as little as you prefer- I used a lot). Cover the cheese with the tortilla chips. Sprinkle more cheese on top of the chips. Bake uncovered until cheese it melted. Voila- taco nacho bake.

I just bought some frozen dumplings... I can add them instead of the biscuits... I will try this!!! Thanks!! SG- It is soooo good and so easy!! Depending on how you like it to taste I sometimes add a little chicken bouillon for a stronger flavor. The last time I made it I took out a lot of water so it was thicker once the soup was added and it was soooooo good!! It is really hearty and awesome on a cool day!
