Thanks to heroicmuse for leading me to the channel where I found this video. During the Possession story, there was a mini story arc in which André (under the guise of Tony) attempted to kill Father Francis. |

Another fantastic André clip, this one also coming from the period of 20 years where André pretended to be Tony. Apparently there was something between him and Kate even before their more recent romance, and in the later half of this clip, they shared a dance at Tuscany.

I have loved Tony and Anna's wedding back in 1985 and it is a great wedding and perfect for them I have been a fan of theirs since they first met back in 1983 I have been a fan of Thaao's since he first came on the show too

  Whether playing the dashing Tony, or the deliciously evil André, Thaao Penghlis has always been a class act. As Tony, he is debonair, suave, and utterly charming. A good guy all around. André is also debonair and suave, but with a nice dose of psychopathy mixed in. I, personally, have loved this actor from the moment I first remember seeing him. Which, incidentally, was the day that André (at the time, impersonating Tony) threw Sami through the glass doors of the DiMera Mansion. Whether he's being good, or being way too good at being evil, Thaao is a class act. So, in this thread, let's show our appreciation to the man who has made two of the most unforgettable DiMera children. thank you for starting this thread |

I am in the middle of watching Thaao doing the dual role from 1983 on some DVDs I have and just love them too. In fact, I have all of 1984 DVDs and 1985 DVDs that i watch on a regular basis for I love the storylines back then

I found this video from the Salem Slasher storyline, in which André (posing as Tony) interrupts Alex Marshall and Marie Horton to talk to the latter for a few minutes. He then returns home and calls the Phoenix. suggesting Marie should be the next victim.
