I think Eve had a lot of potential, however the writers killed it when her sole focus was revenge on Jennifer for whatever wrong she was facing. I wish Kassie nothing but the best in her future endeavors.

I just saw this too. Another waste of talent. At least they're not killing Eve off.

I have an appreciation for the actress and her talent, but the character that she played was horrible with really no redeeming qualities. I will not miss Eve at all. Best of luck to Kassie. Thanks for the info wendylou and keeping us up-to-date!

How sad. Just when Eve's finally getting on track, she leaves. What a shame. I liked KDP as Eve but I guess there's nothing else left for her. I really hope this doesn't mean Theresa might be next, especially since she's in a storyline of her own right now.

I like the actress and am disappointed that she wasn't better utilized.

Another waste of a great talent. First Daniel Cosgrove now Kassie what Days? It seems like they are on a major purge of all Tomlin/Whitesell characters. I can't say I'm disappointed that the miseries of the past few years will be ending. However, I really, really hate that even the few gems like Daniel and Kassie are out the door too. Aiden didn't have to be Hope's love interest. He could have stepped aside when Bo returns and he sees the great, epic love that exists between them. I always thought he had chemistry with Jennifer too. And Eve was wasted as fodder for JJ/Paige, but with Paige dead they could easily have moved her into a grown-up storyline. It's disappointing that Kassie is leaving, but it makes sense. Eve was always a schemer and a "bad girl" but Tomlin/Whitesell putting her in the kiddie pool did no favors for the character. Is it bad to say that I now hope we get some Shane/Kimberly sightings? I feel like part of why we have only seen Patsy is because Charles and Kassie are just too close in age. It would look too bizarre to see Shane and his "daughter" together when the actors are actually less than a decade apart in age. I am going to miss Kassie, though I won't miss Eve. Kassie has been a gem. I'm so heart-broken for her despite that I am please Paige is no longer on our screens.

unavitasegreta I really am starting to wonder if they intend on getting rid of every single Tomsell character on canvas. I think now that with Eve leaving, Theresa's officially the only female creation left, but at the same time I can't help but wonder if she might be heading out the door too. I hope not, especially since they have just given her a good storyline and they're finally getting around to fixing her character. Also there is so much more they can do with Theresa. She can be the next generation bad girl because honestly Nicole's getting up there in age a bit. I just don't know why they would spend so much time trying to salvage Theresa only to send her on her way. It's just pointless. But I guess with all of the vets coming in and some of them hanging around permanently, there's no need for Eve, especially with Theresa there. And maybe KDP might have been a bit expensive to keep around, budget-wise. So cuts had to be made. Also I think Eric, J.J., Chad and Paul were also introduced under Tomsell and they're still sticking around, so I'm hoping they're not canning everybody from the old guard. I don't know. All of these changes are making me really nervous and wondering why exactly is their game plan.

I think/hope the game plan is to make us forget that entire miserable period of Tomlin/Whitesell's reign of terror! I do hope we at least get to keep Theresa and Paul. I may be wrong, but I think Chad was created during Higley's previous tenure with DOOL. (Someone can correct me if I'm wrong because I was mostly off during that period and didn't tune in regularly because I just can't take Melanie in large doses and she was insanely propped back then.)
I like that Tate unites the Kiriakis and Donovan families and the rich history that exists between those families. I'd really like to see Shane again. His daughter and grandson live with Victor Kiriakis. That is insane! I know times change and all that, but OMG his kid & grandkid are living with the guy who did horrible things to his family. We got to see Kimberly's reaction and her discomfort. I really want to see Shane. Hopefully that'll happen with Eve gone and the weird/obvious age issue "resolved" if Theresa is now the only daughter in town. That's really the only thing that makes me happy about Kassie leaving the show. She's such a talented actress.

They can't afford to keep everyone and bring people back at the same time. I'm guessing the writers didn't have any long range plans for Eve so they decided not to keep her.

Um, what would be the point since Bo's return isn't long term? The point was that he didn't have to leave the show if he's not Hope's love interest. The point was that there are other stories for Aiden that don't have to involve Hope. I'm not really looking for a fight or argument. I just simply think that Aiden has more possibilities than being Hope's love interest. I'd rather they have put him in another story rather than get rid of Aiden altogether. That's all I was trying to say.

unavitasegreta I hope Theresa and Paul stick around too, especially Paul since he's the most underdeveloped new character the show has so far. There's still so much they can do with him, now that Sonny's gone. Paul could get a job at Basic Black if possible. And I think Shane might have serious issues with Theresa and Tate living with Victor and I wonder if he might try to persuade his daughter to move out of the mansion, especially now that she's gonna be at Basic Black as a fashion designer. But I'm still expecting Theresa to be still there at the mansion for the long run, although it would be very awkward if they eventually start dating other people. If Theresa's not going to be with Brady, then she needs to eventually get her own place and Emma can always bring in Tate for visits.
