Yeah it does.That's what I love best about Philip.He's not a good boy,but he's not a bad boy either.He's got shades of grey,and then you have the romantic playful side of him too.

It's not often you see Vivian afraid of anything,but I think you're right Fluffy,she was definitely scared of him this time.

Jay should have received an Emmy for that scene.... he was terrific; so controlled and not over the top like so many soap actors..... hmmm... several of them are on Days...... and one of them got a nomination this past year (didn't win because he didn't deserve to win)

I think he was too afraid that Daniel would tell Melanie or figure out the truth. Maybe he figured if he took the beating Daniel would keep quiet.

Maybe.I also think that Philip felt so bad cheating on Mel that he thought he deserved the beating,even if Daniel didn't know the whole truth yet.

That's what sucked about the whole thing.The Phelanie marriage,although continued for months after he cheated,was tainted.So no matter what sweet thing he did,there was always the guilt behind it.

It went on for almost a year! The ONS happened in April and it was the very end of December at the Christening when it came out. It was so relieving. Almost as bad as the Sydnapping storyline and the long dragged out stupidness of it.
Thanks for the photos! Loved Vivian's face when Philip was telling her how it is. LOL
