wendylou I was thinking something similar. With this DEA storyline they just started, and Paige flirting with Kyle the other day, I'm wondering if JJ will go undercover to try to get Kyle away from Paige and that she will be killed in the crossfire, but declare that she's forgiven JJ before she dies. tg88 I would worry about that too. I'm hoping that we will have a storyline where people are actually supporting JJ and getting him some help, especially if Paige actually dies.

I know this sounds mean, but I am all for Paige dying. Kassie dePaiva is so talented. She would shine in that kind of story.

I know I'm going to sound like a horrible person for saying this, but I'm kind of hoping Paige dies too. I know the writers have tried to make Paige work but unfortunately Paige was a massive failure from the very beginning and I'm glad they're getting rid of her now.
Although I am very worried that J.J. might become so distraught by her death that he could end up doing drugs again. I really wouldn't like to see that again. What would be the point?
The biggest question for me is: who is going to be J.J.'s new love interest now that Paige might be gone? Do we have to wait six months before they introduce a new lady love or are Higley/Griffith possibly considering pairing J.J. up with another female character already on canvas?
I also have another question too: is it possible that Higley/Griffith might end up getting rid of more characters that have been created/introduced under Tomsell?

At least we're in good company. I really hope she dies! I also have another question too: is it possible that Higley/Griffith might end up getting rid of more characters that have been created/introduced under Tomsell? I think they are cleaning house and I am just fine with that! Serena, Xander, Paige, Ben, Clyde, etc. are not "my" Days of Our Lives. If all of them left Salem, I'd be insanely happy. I have no problem with some new characters, but I miss watching the show and actually enjoying it and seeing characters I have known my whole life!

unavitasegreta You're going to love what I have in store for Paige in "Stolen Lives" then! I don't mind them keeping some new characters but hopefully they are going to keep some that might still have potential but just had suffered from horrible writing and could and/or should be salvaged. It's fine to do right by the vets but this show also needs some new blood at the same time. Also please forgive me if I'm ignorant of some of the stuff that has happened so far because I haven't been watching for the last two months.

Also please forgive me if I'm ignorant of some of the stuff that has happened so far because I haven't been watching for the last two months. You've missed nothing. Literally nothing. The elephant is gone, thank god. Daniel and Eric have stopped berating and shaming Nicole ... for now. Hope and Aiden have been somewhere doing something that we've not seen. Clyde is still a disgusting child molester. Abigail and Ben are still boring. So, yeah, you've missed nothing worthwhile. These last 25ish episodes of Tomlin/Whitesell scripts can't end soon enough!

Well then looks like I've made the right choice in tuning out then. I just got so sick and tired of not getting the payoff I wanted and not being able to enjoy my faves and feeling constantly shafted by bad writing. Hopefully within a month or two not only will I be able to once again enjoy my favorites in some good stories but also get to enjoy new characters.
Also on the subject of Clyde, as much as I'd like for him to be gone, I'm worried that if they get rid of him there won't be any new villains to step in in case anything happens to Stefano and/or Victor.
