Has anyone noticed the commercials for this show during Days? I read a bit about it in Entertainment Weekly and they seemed to like it. They compared it a bit to Outlander - but of course, it's on PBS so probably tamer. It's a romance (which is probably why they're advertising it during a soap) and it's on Masterpiece. I think it starts this Sunday. I set up my DVR to record it. I'm going to give it a try. I like a lot of stuff I see on Masterpiece.

Anyone planning to watch?

I hadn't heard of it or even seen the commercials. How did I miss them? Now I am intrigued.

This turned out to be very good. Very romantic and dramatic - a bit steamy. If PBS re-airs or it's on Netflix, I recommend it. There's quite a bit of nice um....scenery as well.

I haven't watched the finale yet but this has been a great series so far! I love the little scar Poldark has on his face. Great characters.

It was really good kathyj. Also, don't know if you've heard but there will be a second season. Thank goodness too because the ending was a huge cliffhanger. I only hate that we probably have to wait a long time for the next season.

Yes, I like his scar too. Aidan Turner (I think that's his name) is very sexy and the actress who's plays his wife is such a stunning redhead. She's my favorite character.

This show is available on Amazon Prime now. I you have Amazon, I recommend it. It's very soapy and romantic. Give it a few episodes for the romance to kick in.
