I find it really sad that we didn't get one last good love scene before they ended Phelanie. Budget cuts. Not many love scenes in general on the show.
I think this look on Jay's face was better than any love scene for me. As a Philip fan, I have never seen him look like this with ANY other woman. And it was so nice to finally see him happy, loved and content. (Another reason why I have issues supporting the idea of Phloe as a couple now. She always made him so damn sad or wrecked.)And being the angst queen that I am, I much preferred our sad goodbyes to a love scene. |

Such sweet and poignant pictures of Philip, Melanie, and Parker, knowing what we now know. At that time, Parker was providing an incentive for them to start their own family. Thanks for posting these pix, slyn.
