Some have expressed that it drives them crazy the way Mel puts her arms up like that, but quite frankly,I wouldn't mind doing the same, just to get my hands in that hair.....

That was the day that Maggie's kitchen table got used for something other than breakfast.

Well I am a Phloe fan turned Philip/Melanie fan, so I appreciate all the caps you have shared. (I have their entire story up on youtube btw....actually Philip's entire story since fall 2008 - yes I mean every scene. My channel is slyn11) I loved Phelanie because it was Philip's first adult love story and the first time he was wanted and chosen (though he didn't really know it at times). I liked having the pleasure of seeing Jay as a romantic leading man and not the underdog or jilted lover. He did it so well didn't he? I love how Philip looked at Melanie. So convincing as a man in love.

I was a Phloe, turned Phelanie, going back to Phloe, lol.Though I'm not fond of Chloe right now, they did make a good pairing at one point.I do have to agree with all the points slyn made.

I was a Phloe, turned Phelanie, going back to Phloe, lol. LOL I am not sure I can go back to Phloe...well I could, but the baby sort of makes it less fun for me. But I feel much better about them now that Philip told Chloe off. (It needed to be said IMO)

What I liked about that is he didn't tell her off to be mean, nor did he take Parker to be mean.He was being the good daddy we knew he could be.He had to put his son before anything or anyone else and he did that.I have to say it....God I miss the hair! *whimpers*

I liked Phillip and Melanie together. I didn't care for her before they got together and now that they aren't together, I don't really care for her again. Coincidence? I think not. Lol.

I liked Phillip and Melanie together. I didn't care for her before they got together and now that they aren't together, I don't really care for her again. Coincidence? I think not. Lol. While I think JKJ was great with all his leading ladies. He has had good chemistry with all of them. I thought there was just something a little more special with Jay and Molly. And I think it was because they achieved a symbiosis working together. They may not have had the hottest kisses or the most passionate love scenes but they conveyed an intimacy onscreen that made you really believe they were in love. You know all the little things they did...like touch each other every time they were in the room together. Always holding hands, smiling at each other, cuddling even when while in the background of a scene. He smiled so much when he was with her. More than he ever had on the show before. And Jay's smile is so beautiful, it was great to see it so often. (Did you notice when Phelanie broke up, he was back to smiling less?) Also I think Molly's acting style just meshed really well with Jay's. Jay is all about the natural gestures. He makes faces, he uses his hands, he feeds off the energy of others in the scenes. Molly is the same...she does lots of gestures and faces...she feeds off her co-stars energy (which is why she may be so blah right now. Dario is not giving her anything to work with). There are countless scenes that are evidence of this "teamwork". They totally vibe off each other. This last clip shows all their physical acting. This scene is not a love scene or even romantic...yet we see her holding on to his tie (as per usual), hands on his knee, arms around each other etc...like a real couple. And if you watch other couples on the show....even some super long running ones. You don't see that unless the scene specifically calls for it. SYMBIOSIS
