Anyone doing anything special to celebrate St. Pats?
Ron is making his fabulous non-traditional corned beef, cabbage, and Irish Soda Bread. We'll be celebrating on Monday. Can't wait!

So ... St. Patrick's Day is on Monday, then?

No, it's Tuesday, the 17th. Monday is the more convenient day for us for cooking.

Nope, it's on Tuesday, but most people I've talked to seem to be celebrating either Monday or over the weekend. My parents and I and a friend are going out tomorrow for corned beef and cabbage. Then, Monday on my show, I'm playing all Irish music. That sounds good, Kpatch!

I will have to remember to wear my green dress on Tuesday. I have no plans. Irish food isn't my favorite.

We have a parade in town Tuesday morning. Apparently people take the day off and go to the parade and then to the Irish pubs.
It will be a regular Tuesday for me.

The parade is at 10am so I suspect if you work in an office downtown you either watch out the window or take a break and walk outside. Beautiful picture kathyj.

Gorgeous mood-setting picture kathyj! I don't wear green. It's a bad color for me. At one time, I worked on Fifth Avenue in New York City and got a ringside seat to all the parades. I remember walking out of my building and the sidewalks were sticky from spilled beer.

Mmm. We just had our St. Pats dinner. So good. The Irish Soda bread was out of this world. It was gorgeous too and piggies that we are couldn't pause to take a picture. We had to dig in right away.
