Who is planning to watch?
Do you have picks for the winners?

I have no idea who will win. I haven't seen any of the movies this year. I enjoy seeing all of the ladies' gowns and jewels.

None of the movies really appealed to me this year. Last year they did, but this year not so much.

I haven't seen any of the nominated films either. Or even any of the films that weren't nominated. LOL.

I'll probably watch at least some of it even though I haven't seen many of any of the films either. I'm guessing Reese Witherspoon wins best actress and Michael Keton best actor. Those are my only guesses.
I kind of think there are getting to be too many awards shows. By the time the Oscars gets here it just isn't as special anymore. At least not to me.

I just remembered Steve Carrell is nominated. I haven't seen his movie either but I hope he wins. I love him.

I agree that there are an overabundance of awards shows wendylou.

I have the awards on in the background, but it's pretty boring so far. Yep, too many awards shows that you lose interest by the end of the season.

I really liked the year when they turned off microphones and cut to the next presenter. Maybe that wasn't the Oscars? Whatever it was, I prefer that method. The Polish film guy went on way too long.

Tim McGraw singing "I'm not going to miss you" made me cry.

Tim McGraw singing "I'm not going to miss you" made me cry. Me too! That is such a beautiful song.

I haven't seen the documentary. It'd probably make me cry if I can't even listen to the song without getting teary-eyed.
