The trailer looks pretty good. Who's planning to see it?

I don't think I could watch the S&M stuff in public.

I want to see it. I would probably go alone.

I will probably wait until it comes out on DVD or pay per view do that I can watch at home. Not sure I want to watch some of those scenes with a bunch of strangers.....much less fight the traffic to get into a theater to watch it.

They will have to leave a lot of it to the imagination otherwise I don't see how they can get away with an R rating.
I'd like to see it but there's no way my hubby would go. I'll be waiting for the DVD or on-demand.
The actor playing Christian doesn't look the way I pictured him.

The second book would be much more interesting story wise.
I've heard that theaters are selling out of tickets for this weekend.

Hmm.... I haven't read the book but I think this author conflates BDSM and abuse. That being said, I think point 4 is well taken (and also I think is a partial explanation of why JJ can't stay away from Eve)

I think some people are looking for a little spice in their marriage rather than wanting to be beat or get into a BDSM relationship.

I don't find it romantic at all. But my work is tied to domestic violence and so I see too much abuse and violence against women to find BDSM or 50 Shades to be sexy. I have a client right now whose husband got out all his 'tools' to torture her and she barely escaped with her life. 50 Shades is too 'gray' for me.

My big fear is that young women will think they have to agree to do things they are uncomfortable with to keep a man or that young men will think that this is what all women like.

I'm curious as to the age of people going to the movie. The women I know who read the books and want to see the movie are all late 30's or older.
