The Middle was awesome, hated when it ended but it had a good run.  And Lisa Rinna was perfect for that role.

The Middle was awesome, hated when it ended but it had a good run.  And Lisa Rinna was perfect for that role.

Being born and raised in Indiana definitely was true to life and it was a decent show too. I'm glad they ended on a good note rather than fade into irrelevancy like so many other shows.

Chrishell Hartley’s Lifetime Thriller ‘Staged Killer’




Days of our Lives actress to star in new Lifetime movie.

Soaps.com has learned that Chrishell Hartley, Days of our Lives’ Jordan Ridgeway, has been tapped to star in an upcoming Lifetime TV movie, Staged Killer. The air date has not been set yet, but will be this year, according to the movie’s production company, Reel One Entertainment.




Hartley teased the movie poster on Instagram, writing only that the movie is “coming to Lifetime soon! Will keep you posted on dates & times!” The image showcases her character, flanked on either side by actors Jason Dolley (Good Luck Charlie) and Nicole Bilderback (Dark Angel), all three of them looking serious and suspicious of those around them.


Hartley’s character, Naomi Spencer, is a popular local television morning talk show host whose personal life begins to fall apart when her former co-host from a college show, Jake Everett (Dolley) reappears in her professional life.  While the audience reaction to their on-screen pairing causes ratings to skyrocket, behind the scenes, Jake’s presence leads to ever more dangerous and deadly scenarios for the people in Naomi’s life, as well as Naomi herself. This includes her coworkers and friends, including Bilderback’s Scarlett.

This is just the latest project outside of daytime for Hartley, who can also be seen playing a real estate agent in Netflix’s upcoming series, Selling Sunset, which dropped March 22. Hartley is married to former Young and the Restless and Passions actor Justin Hartley (Adam Newman, Fox Crane), and has had roles on Y&R and All My Children.

Exciting New Film for Days of Our Lives' Casey Moss!







Days of Our Lives' Casey Moss (JJ Deveraux) will star alongside Michael John Madden in an exciting new short film. The film is called Circle and is written and directed by Madden. It is produced by Nico Tileston.

Moss will play the role of Chris Hardy while Madden will play the role of Benjamin Hamilton. The two had previously worked on a film called The Last Champion which is slated for release later this year. Circle was shot outside of Joshua Tree and will focus on two guys who get lost in the desert.

Days of Our Lives actor, Matthew Ashford (Jack Deveraux) is taking on a new role in an upcoming film. Ashford has been cast in the role of Jim for the upcoming project titled The Castle,  an independent World War 2 based historical horror movie that follows two modern day vacationers who encounter Nazi ghosts haunting their German castle. 

Here's the plot:


Walter and Anna vacation at a Castle in Germany uninhabited since 1945. The Castle has a dark history including it being once owned by the evil SS Nazi Colonel Oskar Hoffman. What Walter and Anna don't know is that the Castle's dark history is about to catch up with them as they end up in a fight for their lives and very souls!
The story continues to present day where the main characters are involved in a scary series of events at the castle when they realize it’s being haunted by evil Nazi Ghosts. We have practical FX, VFX and other high production value things planned for several sequences to enhance the movie’s realism.
The cast includes; Lew Temple as Walter, Tierza Scaccia as Anna, Jerry Lynch as Colonel Hoffman and Shannon Lee as Johanna. The film is seeking funding, to help bring this film to life go here: www.kickstarter.com/projects/1487

Days of Our Lives Alum Peter Reckell Takes On New Project!




Days of Our Lives alum, Peter Reckell (Ex-Bo Brady) is greatly missed on screen but he has a new project he is working on. Reckell will, however, be working behind the camera this time as a Director for an upcoming unnamed project.

Former soap star, Iris Almario was happy to be directed by Reckell, Almario is known for work as Adela on General Hospital and Jessica Sinclair on The Young and the Restless. Almario shared a picture of herself alongside Reckell with the caption, "So fun being directed by Peter Reckell aka soap opera royalty. 📺🎥 Who else remembers him as Bo Brady from #DaysofOurLives Super Couple Bo & Hope? ❤️ #bope It was a total treat for me to geek out about acting with him. He loves the magic & journey of storytelling which is music to my ears. 😊 Feeling inspired. Thanks Peter."

The Lifetime movie continues the love story of newlyweds Prince Harry (Charlie Field) and American actress Meghan Markle (Tiffany Smith) pulling back the curtain to reveal the untold joys and challenges of life inside the Royal Family during their pivotal first year of marriage. Shaughnessy last appeared on Days of our Lives back in 2017.

A Paris Romance

Jen Lilley (Theresa Donovan, Days of our Lives; ex-Maxie Jones, General Hospital) is set to star in A Paris Romance, part of the Hallmark Channel’s annual Countdown to Summer series. The actress gushed about the new role while on location in the City of Lights, writing on Instagram that she is “soaking up the last moments in Paris but eager to get home to my 3 favorite boys.Thank-you @hallmarkchannel for another magical movie. Can’t wait for you all to see this one!” Lilley will portray Isabella, owner of an Oregon winery that she hopes to make world-renowned after entering a prestigious wine competition in France, where she faces off against the charming Jacques. An air date has not yet been announced.

So I see a post above mentions Chrishell Hartley being in a show called Selling Sunset. This is a show on Netflix and it’s a reality show about a high-end real estate agency in CA. She is the new girl and she really is a real estate agent. She explains how there is a lot of down time as a soap actor and she did this on the side and loves it.

I know a lot of Days actors have side jobs and this is hers. She must like it because as she mentions, her husband is a pretty successful actor so she doesn’t have to do it.

Definitely gives a new perspective on her. Sounds like she had it pretty rough as a kid.

Days of Our Lives' Paul Telfer (Xander Kiriakis) books an exciting new primetime gig. Telfer revealed on Twitter that he's set to guest star on an upcoming episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Telfer guest stars along with; Sola Barnis, Matt O'Leary, Brooke Williams, Winston James Francis and Lucas Bryant. In this episode titled "Window of Opportunity", while Fitz and Enoch struggle in space, Sarge and his team move forward with their mysterious mission on Earth. The episode was written by James C. Oliver & Sharla Oliver, and directed by Kevin Tancharoen. It is the second episode of the 6th season which airs on Friday, May 17 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC. Be sure to tune in!

Days of Our Lives actress, Kate Mansi (Abigail DiMera) stars in a new film. The film is called The Office Mix-Up (90 Minutes). It stars; Kate Mansi, Matthew Lawrence, Sabina Gadecki, Joey Lawrence, Samaire Armstrong, Tom Denucci, Lily Delamere

Lacey (Kate Mansi) is brilliantly creative. The only problem is that no one seems to notice. Barely able to make ends meet, she works an extra shift as a night security guard at a marketing firm. To overcome boredom, Lacey sketches some ideas for the firm’s struggling ad campaign. The sketches accidentally get noticed by Mikey (Joey Lawrence), the firm's CEO, and his brother Greg (Matthew Lawrence), who will do anything to prove himself at the company. Just one problem – they assume Lacey is Valerie Staken, an executive who actually turned down their job offer to work at another firm. Tempted by the chance to catch up on her bills, Lacey takes on Valerie's identity. Things get even more complicated when Lacey finds herself falling for Greg. Now she must come clean before things go too far. Will she lose everything if she reveals the truth?
