Been thinking some more about how much I liked this chapter. It felt genuine and true to character, while there was also character growth and forward motion, both for Philip and Chloe and for Maggie and Victor. Philip and Chloe have some of their best interactions out on the patio.

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten you or Being. Have a few more things to try and straighten out, and some cat sitting to do (don't tell mine, they'll get so PO'd!), then hopefully I'll get to posting in August. It's going to be so hard imagining a cold midwestern winter during a hot and muggy Louisiana summer!

And just for those who are wondering, I have been into the city (that's what we suburbanites call NOLA), but no, sadly, I've not seen Jay. On the other hand, that could be a good thing, since I'm usually...um, glowing. Yeah, because ladies don't sweat.

Hi everyone, since I recently tuned back in I'm just catching up with this story, it has been beautifully/talentedly written, and I would be disappointed if this was the ending, just curious to know if this was the ending or if it has been continued at another site.

From what I can remember felineflash had been on a hiatus of sorts from writing this story when she joined MyHourglass. She posted the new chapters here as she wrote them. I don't know of there being any newer chapters posted elsewhere.
