Yeah I wondered about his leg. My brother is an amputee and his leg can't go in the water, so it is a little far fetched that he could jump in the water with the prosthetic on. But all the head scratchers aside, it was a good episode. I missed it yesterday and watched it online because I felt that just reading the summary wasn't going to give me the full effect.

I love him putting 2 and 2 together with Mel and Kate regarding Chloe. I also love the Phil/Daniel talks where they were honest with each other and the guilt that Phil feels for what happened to Chloe and all she's been through. I can't say Daniel, because I still don't feel much regret from Daniel.

Honestly I do feel regret from Daniel,but it's not in regards to Chloe.Yes he still calls her "sweetheart"or "honey"in unguarded moments,but I take it more like if I would do it with any one of you.It's not a huge deal,and it doesn't express his love for her.At least that's what I'm getting out of it,or rather not getting.I feel that his regret is more centered around Parker,and having lost a baby he believed for months was his,only to have him torn away from him.If that makes sense.

Did you see the look on Chloe's face at the end of Friday's episode? When she told Philip she was hoping he had gone to get Parker so she could see him and hold him, there was a mix of emotions that crossed her face all at once. It was so human and so in-the-moment. And there was no makeup for her to hide behind.

Philip: Salem's Boy Wonder! I guess we got a real dose of Jay and Nadia's chemistry this last week. He kinda reminded me a little of the Old Bo...sigh. Philip/Jay has been great at trying to walk that line between being Chloe's true friend and having to watch over Parker when she slips up. I think he has done an amazing job of caring about how Chloe feels and being respectful of how much she has suffered since their ill fated night together. I was touched when he tried to make Daniel understand and I wanted to hug him. I wanted to smack Daniel at the same time. He reminds me of Bo and his squirmy, constipation faces. Trying to appear a strong "victim" is making him apear to be lacking in real emotion. Of course, if I am being honest, I have never been a Daniel fan to begin with. He's just so preachy. And sleazy. Eww.

But I did see tears in Daniel's eyes when Jennifer brought Parker in to see Chloe and Chloe was so happy!

I know sportsgirl, Daniel has a soft spot for Parker and I'm seeing that he is conflicted about wanting to be a part of his life. Maybe he will give up his holier than thou attitude and forgive Chloe after seeing her fall into such deep despair.
