Awwwww that was such a sweet chapter. But what I need to know Kpatch is when the other shoe is going to drop and Chloe finds out he kicked her and Parker out when he found out Daniel was Parker's daddy! |

I was just wondering how Chloe is going to react when she realizes what Philip did. I wonder if she will remember meeting George and go talk to him when she runs away scared!

Chapter 15
Later that evening, after Chloe tucked Parker in and read him a story, she returned to the living room to find Philip strumming the guitar Chloe bought him for Christmas, alternately playing some chords and adjusting the struts. He hadn’t heard her enter the room.
Their talk earlier, after Brady left, helped to eliminate an undercurrent of tension that was hanging in the air. She hoped they’d be stronger for it.
“Play something for me,” she said.
Philip looked up and smiled, the warmest smile she’d ever seen. It hinted of the intimacy between them, a closeness that she came to cherish. “Any requests?”
Chloe made herself comfortable on the sofa and crossed her legs, Indian style. “Surprise me.”
Philip strummed a little more and then he licked his lips and smiled, as if an idea came to him. “This one’s for you.”
Chloe felt herself flush when he licked his lips. Her breathing quickened and her skin prickled with goose bumps as he started to strum, as if he were strumming her body. When his eyes locked with hers, she thought she might faint. He was no longer a cute infatuated youngster serenading a sweet song outside her bedroom window. Somewhere along the way, he had turned into a seriously sexy heartthrob, and she thought he was using the guitar as foreplay, a prelude to a night of romance.
