Probably. Her life is pretty much ruined anyway. Soon she will be the pariah of the entire town and no one will care about her. So why shouldn't she go back on drugs?

Chapter 8 EVE'S APARTMENT MARY BETH: What do you mean? PAIGE: I mean exactly what I said. Why did you help set up J.J.? MARY BETH: I didn't. PAIGE: Really? Then what was all this about? (in a whiney, Mary Beth-esque way) Ow! My arm hurts so bad! Please take me to the hospital, Paige! MARY BETH: Shut up! I do not sound like that! PAIGE: You did that night. I can't believe I couldn't see it that night, you were faking. MARY BETH: Well, you didn't exactly resist. You were looking for a reason to get away from that stupid party and your lame-o boyfriend. PAIGE: Why are we even friends, Mary Beth? MARY BETH: Because we've been friends since grade school. PAIGE: But, why? We don't have anything in common anymore. You're always putting down the people I care about. You've made your feelings about J.J. very clear. Heck, you helped set him up. I broke up with him because of those pictures. MARY BETH: Thank god! Paige glared at Mary Beth. DIMERA MANSION Chad walked down to the basement. CHAD: Rolf? ROLF (VO): In the next room, Chadwick. Chad walked into the main part of the lab. CHAD: Is it ready? ROLF: Ready and waiting. CHAD: Let's wake her up, then. SALEM PLACE The man who punched E.J. in the previous chapter was walking through Salem Place. Lucas walked up to him. LUCAS: Hey, don't I know you? MAN: Nope. LUCAS: I swear I've seen you somewhere before. MAN: Sorry, friend. You must have me confused with someone else. The man quickly walked away. |

I loved Paige calling out Mary Beth on her fake arm and fake friendship. Go Paige!
LOL at Rolf calling Chad "Chadwick."

PAIGE: We're done here! I have to go! I have to find out who else set J.J. up! Paiged walked out, closely followed by Mary Beth. MARY BETH: Paige? Paige, come back! The two headed for a stairwell. MARY BETH: Paige, come on! I wanna talk! PAIGE: There's nothing to talk about. You've already made your feelings about J.J. abundantly clear, and you obviously think I'm an idiot for liking J.J. When they got to the stairwell, Paige went down the first step, but Mary Beth grabbed her hand. PAIGE: Let go of me! MARY BETH: No! PAIGE: Mary Beth, I said let go of me! MARY BETH: Not until you stop and talk to me, Paige! Paige struggled to get out of Mary Beth's grip. PAIGE: I said let go! Paige pulled hard. The force of her pull was so hard that it not only let go of Mary Beth, but sent her falling forward, tumbling down the stairs. CLUB TBD The Man from the last two chapters walked in nd stood by the counter. SONNY: Can I help you? MAN: I should hope so. I'm gonna be your new business partner. SONNY: What do you mean? MAN: I sent you an e-mail a few days ago. SONNY: I'm sorry, you must have me confused with someone else. MAN: You're Sonny Kiriakis, right? SONNY: Yeah. Who are you? MAN: I'm your new bar man. You can call me Stan. DIMERA MANSIOM CHAD: You haven't damaged her in any way, have you? ROLF: Of course not. I am a professional at this. CHAD: Excellent. Chad took off the sheet. CHAD: Can you hear me? WOMAN (VO): Yes. CHAD: Do you know your name and where you are? WOMAN (VO): Yes. CHAD: What is your name? Finally we see the woman. CASSIE: Cassie DiMera. |

I wonder if it's the Stan I remember. I hope Paige will be okay. I hadn't thought of Cassie being the woman in the basement. Very interesting.

Wow, looks like Theresa is going back on drugs. I wonder if anyone will even care what happens to her. She may be heading for a quick death. Maybe she thinks no one cares about her.
