I was thinking this, which is possible and then it could be her saving grace! She needs something to save her character! I can't believe that Shane and Kimberly's daughter would be this pathetic and just evil. Jen is so fabulous and I really could see her being this generation's Sami, but the huge difference is that we knew Sami's motivation and she always got herself into messes because of her own insecurity and stupidity. Then she was trying to get her way out of them and failing miserably but I don't think I ever thought she was truly evil. I don't really remember when she raped Austin, but for some reason even then I feel like it was driven by her insecurity and desperation. (But I admit that I could be wrong on that since my memory is fuzzy.) When Alan raped Sami it broke something in her and her suffering during the fall out only made it worse. Not that I've ever excused Sami's actions, but I at least can understand how messed up she is in the head. That's what I want to see from Theresa because I don't like the idea that she's just selfish, self-centered, and willing to kill anyone who gets in her way or tries to expose her. Multiple personalities? That would be very cool. What if Theresa puts something in John's IV and it brings him around....so it's actually her doing that he wakes? LOL |

Jen Lilley did mention at the Boston fan event that she is actually hoping that Theresa has inherited Kimberly's multiple personality disorder. If Theresa has DID, split personality disorder it would make sense considering her mother Kimberly has it or she had it then Theresa having a split personality it would make her character all the more interesting |

Theresa right now just seems to be selfish and evil! I remember when they went down this road with Eve in the 80's. What are the chances that Shane has two evil daughters? Either there is some evil gene in the Donovan family, (on Shane's side of course), or Theresa may have a similar back story as Eve. You're right this makes no sense! I can understand one evil person in the family but two?! People are going to be looking at Shane and Kim and ask, "What did you do to Theresa to make her this screwed up!" |

But it does strike me as odd that Theresa used to be so cunning and now she seems to have dumbed down considerably because of Kristen. |

I am really not sure where they are going with Theresa anymore, to come from two good parents and be that evil just does not add up. Me neither man. Do the writers even care what they're doing to her? That they're ruining a character that could possibly succeed Sami as the next troublemaking bad girl in town? Somebody that can be a really great next gen character? I hope they have a backup plan and I seriously hope they have come up with a decent backstory for her by now. |
