I just had to start a thread for Eve, played by my fave ever, Kassie DePaiva!  Just love her and happy she came to DAYS. I had just started watching Days, because I missed soaps and gave up on ABC back in August of 2012.....so I was SO SO GLAD that she came onto the canvas and love her as Eve! She's also a beautiful person off screen. Hope this is okay!? |

More than okay RoKaAlways. Feel free to post pictures if you like. I'd never seen her before Days. You could tell from Day 1 that she was a terrific actress. It amazed me how much like the original Eve she is playing the role. She's Charlotte Ross, 20 years later. |

You guys didn't get to see her on OLTL? That's a shame. She was incredible as Blair Manning! Her character was somewhat similar to Eve in the scheming/conniving/devious vixen role. Blair evolved over the decades into a more mature, mild mother of grown children. It's a great joy to see Kassie playing role like Eve again. It's like you can see what's going on in Eve's head just from her facial expressions. She's much like Jen Lilley that way and thus they complement one another well.
I think snagging Kassie was very smart with Ali Sweeney's departure. Kassie was a strong lead on OLTL for many, many years. I'm just curious who they'll put her with romantically. Daniel seems like the obvious choice, but I just hate the idea of Eve being sacrificed like Carly, Chloe, and so many others to prop Daniel/Jennifer's ultimate reunion (and ultimate break up).

I'm always impressed by people who have more than one talent. I liked the little bit she sang of Shenandoah a couple weeks ago. I was just looking for it on Youtube and couldn't find it.  Doesn't she also have a sewing or scrapbooking show on public television? |
