These days, I'm listening to Best of Rod Stewart at home. I have Downtown Train on repeat track.
In the car, it's Bryan Adams.
Usually I'm listening to something that serves as writing inspiration.
What are you listening to these days?

I can never get enough of Tina Turner, Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey!
I do love Rod Stewart but his wife is so young it's creepy to see him next to her. (Unless they're divorced and I'm behind a few years. Lol!)

My favorites are diverse. I'm a big fan of 70's music...England Dan & John Ford Coley/ Harry Chapin/ Little River Band/ Paul Davis/ Todd Rundgren and America. I really like the Bee Gees, The Eagles, Journey and lots of late 70's/80's music.
I really like Def Leppard, Great White and other 80's "hair bands".
Other favorites include Savage Garden and Daughtry.

As it's that time of year, I'm listening to a lot of Christmas music. My personal favorite is "Last Christmas" by Wham!, followed closely by "Same Old Lang Syne" by Dan Fogelberg.
As for regular songs, one of my current favorites is "Jesus He Knows Me" by Genesis. I'm into a lot of older bands and singers.

I listen to all kinds of music but I think right now my favorite band is Kings of Leon. I pretty much love everything they do. I can't stop listening to The End, which is not a really new song but I hadn't heard it until recently. It's so sultry and pretty.

I've been listening to a lot of Julian Lennon recently. I think I like his music even more than his father's.

So, I got a few CDs and a record for my birthday, and I've been listening to those. The record was "Valotte" by Julian Lennon. The CDs were: "Lucy" by Julian Lennon, "A Headful of Dreams" by Coldplay, and "Both Sides" by Phil Collins. I've also been listening to "19" by Paul Hardcastle, after my brother played it on my show this past Monday.
