I would love to see Sarah Horton and Melanie both return. That would be some family dynamic. Melanie could be jealous of Maggie and Sarah's relationship or Sarah could be jealous of Maggie and Melanie's relationship. Daniel and Sarah could have a love/hate relationship. I know - nobody wants to see more of Daniel but I don't mind him in the family circle. Sarah and Maggie might still have some unresolved issues concerning Neil Curtis.

Sarah could fall in love with Daniel, not realizing who he is, like Marie Horton fell in love with her brother Tommy. After all, it is Daniel and all the women in Salem have to have a turn at being in love with him.

This is exactly what I want to see happen. It'd be great drama. Maggie has forgotten she has daughters since she met Melanie and especially since she found out Daniel is her son. I'd love to see Sarah come to town and be so resentful and angry. She has ever reason to be upset with her mother even now. Maggie (and PLEASE correct my memory if I'm sketchy on my recollection of history!) cheated on Sarah's father with Neil. Sarah walked in on them. Maggie and Neil told her the truth about her parentage to keep her from outing them to Mickey. It had to be crushing for her to find out like that and to only find out because Mom didn't want Dad to know the truth. Sarah left town to get away from everyone and what happened. I think she has every reason to be a bad girl for a while. Neil switched the sperm and fathered her, but then didn't tell anyone. Sarah never knew the guy around town was her bio dad. Her mother finds out the truth - I can't remember how Maggie found out?! - and because she's lonely she has sex with the guy and cheats on the only Dad she (Sarah) has ever known. Flash forward to now and Maggie is married to a man who did the same thing. Victor stole her mom's eggs and Daniel was born. She then found out Dan is her son and her whole life revolves around him, Victor, and Mel. Your suggestion/idea so soapy and we'd have some great mother/daughter drama. But you know what this means ... the show won't do it. They won't do what everyone can see is the most obvious and make cast her as Sarah Horton. A girl can dream ... or maybe someone needs to write this story! |

I'd love for it to be Brady. He's the right age. I know this is silly but he seems too old for Theresa to me. There's the ED/Kristen age gap too but Brady just seems like an adult business man and Theresa is a floundering little girl. Sarah should be old enough for Brady's age group. Or there's always Lucas. They're family BUT they didn't grow up together and Sarah is not a Horton by blood. I know it's odd but I want my man Lucas to get some real loving. He got so close with Sheryl!

I'm so not into Brady/Theresa that I'd also be fine with Brady/Melanie. I'm not sure they have the chemistry as anything other than siblings, but every male on the show falls for Mel so why not try Brady too?!

Or as a way to re-create the rivalry between Mel and Abby why not have Ben go after Mel or vice versa

Lots of people think there's going to be a Ben/Abby/Sonny/Will quad coming up where maybe Ben is gay. I'm not sure why people think that, but I've even seen interviews where they've asked the actors directly. (No spoilers since obviously the actors can't say anything anyway.)

Yes Sarah and Melanie both returning, Maggie would then have her son Daniel, her daughter Sarah, her grandson Parker and her granddaughter Melanie all in town at once But it would make for an interesting family dynamic with Daniel and Sarah having a love/hate relationship as brother and sister and yes it would be even better if Maggie and Sarah did have unresolved issues as mother and daughter with the whole Neil Curtis debacle but have Sarah also have issues with her step-father Victor too And of course Sarah and Melanie could have a love/hate relationship also |
